With *******s trashing this fight on every Goddamn internet forum and *****s trying to oversell this obviously getting poor Victor Ortiz caught in the middle of their childish, annoying and ****ing boring war...

... can the average boxing fan just be happy for this good little showdown and discuss it without the annoying ****?

Moderators: please put fanboys to their place, create a Pacweather sub-forum or megathread or something and let us discuss boxing in the general forum in a general way. Pretty please?

I agree. This is certainly not a career defining fight for Mayweather. However, coming off a 16 month layoff, it's a hell of a fight for him to take. Obviously, this is the biggest fight ever for Ortiz.

Agreed, I'm looking forward to this, just a shame Ortiz is gonna get dragged through the mud by the trolls

for me, it's gonna be a one sided fight. We'll see after the fight if it was a good fight or not. You can't call someone a ******* for saying that Ortiz is not good enough to fight Floyd. I've been saying the same **** about Ortiz from the beginning. I just don't think he's a very good fighter.

If I'm wrong then it's for the best.

Word. I'm not exactly sure how competitive it will be either.

Its hard to comment on this fight without mentioning Pac because Im not satisfied with any Floyd or Pac fight that is not vs each other... if not for that disappointment I would have to say that both Ortiz & Marquez should put up an action fight, both should lose but May or Pac wont get it all their own way - or maybe they will, time will tell.

This fight is a waste. It pretty much solidfies Floyd's ducking of Pac.

Shameless...fighting a guy whose heart was questioned by most of the boxing world. Par for the course though...

We I'm not sure myself, that's why I look forward to it.

What I do know is that the (former) World WW Champion is fighting the no2 guy in the division, an aggressive titleholder a decade younger with good handspeed a huge punch. Interesting clash of styles, stances, age, skills, athleticism and ring activity, all that against the betting odds that favor the old fox - positives solidly outweigh negatives, therefore it's simply a good fight to took forward to. :thumbsup

Definitely a good fight I'm looking forward to... Lets just hope we get the same heart and determination from Ortiz like we did in the Berto fight.. That kind of fighter can bring out the best in Floyd...

That's a bit harsh. Both FLoyd and Pac share some of the blame for the fight not taking place.

This should be a good one, as will be JMM/PAC enjoy them!
