i'm pumped for this one skeletor!

the way i see it, floyd gets massive credit for taking the mosley fight when he did, but with hindsight we can see shane was shot and the performance doesn't tell us much. ortiz is coming off a career best performance against the undefeated wbc champ. he's the best welterweight not named pacman. great clash of styles. why on earth would anyone criticise this?

ortiz is shameless... defending against an inactive, unranked feather fisted super featherweight in his 30's.

I agree with many others. This is a good fight, not a bad set up for (hopefully) Mayweather-Pacquiao after Mayweather goes to that a$$.

I'm going with Ortiz in this one. I dont think I've seen a Ortiz fight where the opponent has not been hurt or down within the first 4 rounds of the fight.
I think his accurate power punching will be too much for Mayweather.

I can easily understand that many people think's it'll be a whipeout for Floyd, as there are many holes in Ortiz's defence.. but I do think he'll pull this one off.

Anyone calling this a bad fight should be ashamed.
    ORTIZ TKO5

I think ortiz will perform better than mosley did against mayweather.

If the Possessed verison of ortiz shows up we will be in for a great night. If he tries to box mayweather it will be a long night.

When division no1 and no2 don't fight for whatever reason, the best is a showdown is obviously one of them taking on no3, like Wlad-Haye, Hopkins-Cloud, Ward-Froch, Bradley-Maidana, Gamboa-John, Donaire-Agbeko - and this fight.

Glad it was made and happy that Ortiz gets a big opportunity, he's been getting all kinds of **** for years but he really did show up vs. Berto.
