Its rumored that Freddy Roach is asking for a 60/40 split...THATS BULL****...RICKY HATTON GOT A 52/48 SPLIT AND FLOYD IS ABOVE RICKY IN TERMS OF DRAW POWER....I THINK PAC'S TEAM IS STUPID TO THINK FLOYD WILL ACCCEPT A 60/40 WHEN HATTON GOT A 52/48...THE HATTON-PAC FIGHT DID 850,000 BUYS....A 50/50 SPLIT IS THE ONLY THING THAT SHOULD HAPPEN AS FAR AS THE PURSE GOES....SAME WITH FLOYDS TEAM...50/50 AND WE CAN GET IT GOING....BUT PAC FANS KEEP TALKIN LIKE FLOYD ONLY DESERVE 40...WELL WHAT DID HATTON DO TO DESERVE 48 INSTEAD OF THE 40 THEY WANT FOR FLOYD:huh...

THIS FIGHT NEEDA 50/50 AT 147 AND THATS THE END OF IT....AND FU#K UR REASONING BEHIND PAC WANTING THAT 60/40 AND FU#K UR REASONING IF YOU THINK FLOYD DESERVES THE 60/40...THIS FIGHT IS 50/50...PAC FANS AND FLOYD FANS ALONG WITH BOXING FANS IN GENERAL SHOULD KNOW THIS..

THOUGHTS IN COMPARING THE HATTON PERCENTAGE WITH THE FLOYD PERCENTAGE:bbb

    Did Hatton get the 52?

Anyway, the reason Hatton got that imo (and i know **** all about boxing politics), is because Hatton was a major draw, regardless of his ability not being on Mayweather's level. That was before Floyd really believed himself that he was the cash cow, he was willing to accpet less. But after he beat Oscar (who was the draw at the time), and Hatton (who was the draw at the time), and made shitloads of dough, he believes he's some unreal god of cash cows now and there's no way he's willing to accept such a cut ever again in his life.

It's madness. Meanwhile us boxing purists just wanna see the two greatest fighters in the world and possibly of our generation fight each other.

Floyd is a bigger draw than hatton...hatton couldn't break 1 million with pac or floyd...

It's all in the negotiation process...start real high, then settle for something more realistic

What happened in the hatton fight is meaningless. After the wins over Hatton and Cotto Pacquiao is definatly a bigger draw than he was then. I think that we all know that there is no way in hell floyd settles for 60/40 (and I don't think he should have to) but I also don't think Manny should have to either.

Floyd is the biggest PPV draw ... it is evident ... since the retirement of DLH ... Floyd has taken over as the fighter who produces the most buys ... and as far as putting butts in seats ... it could be any top fighter today and it would sell, what people want to see more is a chance that they might be in attendence if Floyd Mayweather were ever to lose ... thats the reason why they buy the PPV's as well.

The "firepower" card was shitty and the only good fight was the mainevent ... it definitely didn't live up to the hype and i'm sure that TopRank had something to do with that.

The thing is ... TopRank doesn't want to do a split promotion with anyone and they are trying to keep the money in house ... their negotiating ploys aren't going to do anything but stall the fight.

Floyd deserves atleast 65% of the purse if not more ... because that 30 or so % is going to result in Pacquiao biggest payday.

    :patsch

The only reason that JMM-May reached one million is because the date was moved to a Mexican holiday. Mexicans bought it.

Pac is a much bigger draw today than he was before he beat Hatton

doubt it? Pick up an issue of Time Magazine, Nov 16th. Or just compare his last PPV results to Floyd's

and floyd is a bigger draw today than he was when he fought ricky too...what im sayin is pac doesn't have that much star power over floyd to demand 60/40 just as floyd don't have that much star power to demand 60/40 over pac...what im gettin at is most pac fans are delusional if they think manny pac is that much more of a draw over floyd...most floyd fans will admit a 50/50 share is what it should be...u pac fans give no facts behind a lot of the **** u sayin..

Only muh fu#4a who could demand the money on these 2 was oscar cuz he was the ppv king..
