I believe in this match up.. but perhaps it will only reach an approx. 3M ppvs.. but I still doubt it, this match is next to impossible unless mayweather shuts his big mouth and stop insinuating his nonsense demands.. who knows, the gods might go crazy and finally give us our dream match! LOL oh man can't wait for this fight to happen.. but I have to patiently wait until they settle their deals. Maybe it would, its the only fight that does 2mil+ for sure. Pac marquez does 1mil I think and next weeks card does 1.4/5.
I think there's a law of diminishing returns when it comes to PPV buys. I'd say the Mayweather/DLH fight was a perfect storm due to Oscar's peak of popularity, Mayweather's heel role, the never-before-done 24/7 coverage, the lack of significant internet streaming sites, and the strong economy at that time. Pac Mayweather could be huge, but I think once get over a certain number of PPV buys, it makes it that much more difficult to make gains beyond it.
