So now Cotto's defense is on par with Floyds?

No but the dude is well schooled and has fought very good fighters previously who had speed. My point is the combination of feet and hands with power is something he hadnt faced before hence 'i couldnt see where the punches were coming from'.

Floydtards should be more concerned about the "Floyd gets KO'd by any legit welterweight which is why he hasn't fought one in his entire life" factor.

Pac didnt use much foot work against Cotto but he still may have it normally its just in and out and ocasionally in wierd angles. Im not so sure The foot work will Bother Him. Its the constant pressure and Power that will Bother Mayweather. Zab is faster then Pac but Zab out put will drop and his speed will slow a bit as the fight goes on. Pac will look the same as Round 1, for 12 rounds. Thats whats gonna bother Mayweather.

The footspeed is precisely why i favor him in the fight. There is no one else with that ability at the moment in boxing.

PBF's footwork or footspeed will affect Pac more than Pac will affect PBF. Pac isn't used to anyone he faces having movement. He's used to fighting guys who are there to be hit and stand right on front of him. PBF has more experience in fighting guys who use movement more than Pac has. Not only that PBF has the reach advantage which will help him in this.

More than anything, the reach advantage will be a factor. Floyd has a really big advantage there, and the only way to get in reach of his face and body is to step/jump in, and that gives Floyd an extra split second to roll with the shoulder etc.

To beat Floyd, reach advantage is cruical, old DLH threw the jab from distance in 4 rounds and won 4 rounds. Judah had the same reach and had some success landing punches. I just don't see Pac staying in the pocket and being effective vs. tricky/often dirty Floyd, and Pac is too honest to "dirt back". Doing it from the outside, with a lot of movement, aggressiveness and counters and other stuff, well, that's one helluva job.

its not the footwork that will affect pac. its floyds defence that will affect him. why do u think roach needs a long training for pac? its because they have to find a way on how to exploit floyds superb defense.

Mayweather brought his own speed back after his long layoff in the JMM fight and made it clear that he is still the fastest fighter in the sport. His footspeed and defensive movements are faster then Pac.

I agree the reach factor will be huge and can't be overlooked. PBF will be able to keep Pac at the end of his jab all night. While Pac will have to lunge in leaving himself exposed against the best counter-puncher in the sport not good if you're Pac.
