Agree, listen i hope Ward does become that fighter as he seems like a thoroughly nice guy, he seems very focused and has the skillset, i would just like to see how he goes from here though before rating him accordingly.

I agree, i told the missis that this will be my last trip to Vegas as it's the end of an era what with pac/floyd not far from the end of the road, she just told me to shut with the lying as they'll always be another fight, but NO i said, i mean it this time & i reeled off all the names who meant something that have been around this last decade are now no more & i just don't see anything coming through that grips me.

There's going to be a 3/5 year lull before we get a couple of potential superstars coming through at equal weights. The last 7 years have been awesome & not without the fact thats when Pac appeared out of nowhere & hammered MAB setting in chain a fantastic & historical round of battles down at the lower weights. yeh, happy days.

I think Chad Dawson and Andre Ward are two very good candidates for the future of boxing. Dawson needs to fight more regularly though.

Good call, forgot about Dawson, he has the best skillset of all previous fighters mentioned imo.

Agreed that Dawson needs be more active. Also needs the LH division to get some better challengers.

I know what you're saying. Sadly, Valuev is on his way out also, probably.

Ward is becoming great. The tournament is helping a lot in terms of resume.
He has shown adaptability to different styles and is aggressive enough to make it entertaining. Also has a nick-name that craves attention.

to me he has the proper ingredients. His division is also storming with good names. Whatever fame the WW division is enjoying now (or the FW enjoyed in the past), the (super)middle-weights up will be getting in the near future.
