Pac is a better fighter today this instance...there is no reason to suggest that he would b a favorite at any other wieght that FLoyd can COMFORTABLY make when he isnt even the favorite at a weight he has shown he is even better now then at the lower weights.

Floyd at any weight will still hold natural advantages and would still present the same troubles and he was even faster at lower wieghts and his POWER was even better.

Pac would never be the favorite at any weight even if its a slight underdog like now

It's funny how some people are saying that cotto is not even in floyd's league at 147, yet they were the same people saying that floyd was scared and ducking him. This doesn't make any sense to me. The same thing with margarito.

Why would you be scared of an opponent who is supposedly inferior to you?

1st off..you were specific .. so I can only go by what u said ...that logic was all about size and being natural @ the weight ... both advantages cotto had over pac ... nothing was said about a caliber or the skill set ... so by that logic cotto should've been a favorite ...
ur response is only making my argument stronger because like I said b4 mayweather is expected to win ... 140 and up and may is the favorite ... please don't try to make that argument .. you said it yourself mayweather is not cotto ... so don't use cotto as an example about betting odds .. may was a favorite against oscar @ 154 .. de la hoya was "bigger and more natural @ the weight" .. de la hoya had the same advatages over pac in their fight but dhl was the favorite .. so please stop it

2nd thing is cotto stumbled out of 140 ... everyone was questioning his chin ... so when he when he went to welter and took some decent shots ... they blamed it on the weight "cottowas weight drained @ 140" ... mayweather on the other hand left 140 with 1 of his bestouting against gatti ... so its a very different situation ... we know cotto can't make 140 ... we DON'T know if may struggles to make 140 ... he might make that weight comfortably .. and as far as marquez catch weight goes ... we know may wanted to come in @ 146 vs marquez cuz if he didn't he would've worked those 2 lbs off

 

Exactly....:yep the way Manny beats people makes them hate him. It only makes it worse when Manny has a "perm-a-grin" all the while laying down an ass whoopin'. I think Floyd has a tremendous chance at beating Manny....but it won't be easy. And I'm actually calling for the upset where PAC pulls out the decision. Very hard fight to predict based on the consistancy of both men and where they are in terms of their "level". No one else is close to them at the moment. All I know is it will be a great, compeititve fight if it happens.
