What if Shane beats Floyd and Pac still on top by beating Clottey, would the boxing fans still be interested on that Mayweather-Pacquiao showdown even if Floyd won't do demands no more?

    Your thoughts?

    :huh

I don't see the connection between your thread title and actual post.

But to answer your question, there'd certainly be less interest. Most people would prefer Mosely-Pac, but it'd still sell well (PBF-Pac).

Mosley will fight Pacquiao because Mayweather will be irrelevant.

Then his purse will be smaller, and he cannot dictate the way he is doing like he is the champion....I hope this happens i want to see some humility in this guy

Could happen, but Pac/Shane would happen first imo.

Don`t think Mayweather camp even cares right now about Pacquiao fight,if, when ,Floyd signs to fight Mosley.IMO Mayweather wins this fight & with that impressive victory in hand takes full control of negotiations if Pacquiao wants to fight later in 2010.

If it goes down like this Pacquiao would be in much weaker position, share of spoils ,glove size, ring size, random testing.Still think they will fight just less drama...

Peace, mate. You're right I guess fans would prefer a Mosley-Pac match up if things develop that way. I am sure the eagerness of boxing fans in knowing who is the baddest between them will make this fight push through.

not really. pacquiao beats cotto while floyd beats jmm but still floyd still thinks he is the draw by making some demands out of the ordinary. so floyd beating shane while pac beating clottey would not put floyd into the upperhand. if he still insists, then both ego's would clash again and no fight between the two would be certain.

It would have to be Mosely - Pac

it's not on sight. floyd won't take a fight he might get Koed. if he takes mosley, it might be a choreographed 12 rd waltz SD

If Mayweather and Pac both win their fights, Mayweather will be in a better position to negotiate a higher purse and random drug testing. The Mayweather ducking questions will be gone and the pressure will be on Manny to make the fight happen.

Not agreeing to 50/50 and 14 day cutoff for 3/13 will end up hurting Manny's earning potential in the later fight.
