I have been reading up on a lot of the talk for where the fight is going to happen. I don't know if any of you have been to any large sporting events recently, but you can't deny the feeling of seeing 100,000 people scream in excitement. It's mob mentality at it's finest. If one of these guys does something exciting, it will be like when Hulk Hogan body slammed Andre The Giant back in 87. I think to treat this fight like a run of the mill vegas affair, it's just going to diminish it's historic value. I say we petition or something to get this fight to Dallas, so it can be as epic as it can possibly get. The undercard needs to be phenomenal too. I'm talking like, multiple title fights with multiple prize fighters. This can literally be bigger than the superbowl if it's done correctly.

I agree. It makes all the sense in the world to feature this mega fight in the newly built mega stadium. It would be an event. It would get the attention of the world Don't just do the same ole Vegas thing with 15,000 fans. Try to pack in 100,000+ fans by stacking the undercard with Mexicans. Put in Valero, Diaz, etc.

I'm sure many of you already read this article. But it just shows how Jerry Jones (owner of Cowboys) is dedicated. And the reason why Schaefer declined the meeting with Jones was because he felt that it was too early in this stage to discuss a venue because the fight hadn't been signed yet. It's not because PBF doesn't want to fight there.

I'm from Vegas and I know we are all hurting like a lot of places but Dallas with 100k seating will be Epic. Why don't you include a poll? And forward the link as a petition.

I would love to see a big fight in a big arena.

But ultimately it comes down to money, and Vegas casinos will pay the largest site fee, so that's where it'll go.

You do know Jones offered a site fee of $25 million right?

i'm from vegas and I also think it needs to happen in Cowboy Stadium. Home of AMERICA'S TEAM.

I'd also have a decent chance to score tickets in Cowboy stadium compared to the non existent chances I would get if it were in Vegas.

Pacquiao is the people's champ and the people should have a chance to watch him fight live.

The stadium looks pretty unimpressive to be honest. The huge screens don't really do it for me - and it certainly doesn't do it for the people who are sitting to the far sides of the stadium - because if I have to keep looking at the big screen, I might as well watch it at home if I can't see the action in the ring with my own eyes.

If anything, the stadium is actually too big. The MGM grand has raised seating relatively close to the ring, and even in the cheap hundred+ dollar seats you can still see the ring. The rings side seats for the Dallas stadium would stretch all the way to the stands, which be so far away from the ring it would be ridiculous.

The atmosphere would be great with so many people, but i'm not sure it can be as intense as the MGM's.

The MGM Grand might match or surpass it. I expect it to, although I hope I'm wrong and we get something away from the norm.

I know Arum was talking about how he expects the bids from the competitors to increase to around $30 million.
