It shouldn't be a problem if it's 50/50! I hope that they agree to 50/50 at 147 with the winner getting a bonus on the PPV rev. That's fair! But who am I or anyone else who feel this is fair.

It's hard to imagine Floyd wanting this fight if there wasn't such a high public demand. His history speaks for itself. All his b.s. talking has taken a toll on him because the public doesn't believe a word he says. He has no choice but to fight Pacman, or, people will remember him for ducking the best fighters in his career.

Floyd came out of retirement to fight Pac. He WANTS this fight. It's a chance to fight a smaller guy that he has stylistic and physical advantages over, and not take any **** for it. A year and a half ago people were calling for Mayweather to fight Paul Williams and now they're happy to see him fight Pac. I can tell you which fight is more attractive to Mayweather.

Don't get your hopes up guys...this fight won't happen...the only time I will believe that this fight will happen is when i hear Lamps calling "the tale of the tape". Until that happens, I don't believe this fight will ever take place.

Note: I was correct when i said the same thing about David Haye pertaining to the Wlad fight

No disrespect, but, I don't believe that shite. Floyd could of fought Cotto, Williams, Cintron, Mosley, Margarito, but, didn't. Now that Pac stole his "thunder" and rattled his ego a little bit, he wants the fight now with Pac.

Log off. You're the same guy who said PBF doesn't fight southpaws when me and another poster called you on it and listed a few you wouldn't admit you were wrong about it and started to spin.:deal WTF do you know.

Excellent post, although there was no real call for him to fight Williams.

Any fight is a possibility besides this one in Floyd's mind. He is all about himself. Everyone, including his fans, knows this.

Let me put it this way...I think Floyd views Pac as the most reward for the least risk out of all of those guys, due to simply being taller, longer, and generally larger. Cotto and Cintron are a no-go due to Cotto recently losing and Cintron being a nobody. Margarito and Williams pose the problem of being bigger guys with better reach and a high workrate. Floyd could beat them, but he'd have to get inside and mix it up. Pac is small enough that Floyd can, if he chooses, keep him on the end of his jab and right straight for however long he wants. So I think he views Pac as a more easily winnable fight. He may or may not be correct, but I think he is probably less concerned about fighting Pac, particularly given how lucrative it seems now, than he would be about fighting some of those other guys.

Regardless, the fight gets made because there's too much money for all involved for it not to.

This fight would benefit him more than any other fight out there. So if Floyd is truly about himself, he would definately take the Pacquiao fight.

I dunno, there's always been a strong PWill contingent who wanted to see Floyd (and everyone at welter) fight him. But substitute Margarito and the point still holds. Floyd probably beats Margarito, but he can't do it from the outside with relatively low risk like he can (in theory) with Pac.
