Yeah yeah, Mayweather/Pac threads are getting old, but this has to be said...all this bickering is getting out of hand. "*****s"..."*******s"...this whole thing is getting ridiculous. Insulting one guy just because you're a fan of the other? Come ON! What is the point of these disparaging threads and photoshopped avatars depicting Mayweather and Pacquiao in such unflattering light? What is the point of all this? Golden Age fights fans are spinning in their graves! (The ones who are dead, I mean.)

The bottom line is, Pacquiao deserves some criticism, and so does Mayweather, but as far as all of this finger pointing and playing the blame game...it's just silly at times - or how people go about stating their opinions is what is silly, anyway. No matter how low regard you might handle either guy, keep in mind that they are both doing tremendous things for the sport of boxing, and their fight falling though was damn near a tragedy.

The bottom line is, let's be mature about this, people. Let's have non-biased, adult conversations about these two guys, and not resort to childish back and forth arguing to get your points across. Name calling is for children.

Because some people aren't really fans of the sport of boxing, they're fans of fighters whom they have homosexual man-crushes on. You ever see the episode of It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia where Mac writes a love letter to an athlete he likes?

That's half of the posters over at the scene and a smaller percentage of the people here.

neither Pac nor Floyd deserve criticism from boxing fans. Two of the best fighters of all time and we are boxing fans ffs. If we who love the sport enough to join a message board disrespect these guys then something is wrong.

I just read at ***********.com that manny wants mayweather so bad. Well, you had him and let him go over a drug test worth 40 million$. Roach, i really respect you as a coach, but shut up now. This is one time I will say that Mayweather isn't even speaking on you guys. You keep saying the fight will happen and you want him bad, but the truth is unless you take that test, the fight will not happen. Mosley taking the test just killed whatever bull**** you are on. Good luck in sealing a 40million$+ payday!

Great thread, and I completely agree.. :good

I agree, it's crazy how some of these people go at each other for the sake of their favorite boxer. It's a shame. But you also might have to put things into perspective that some of these posters are 16 or under and don't know what a 'mature' conversation is debating points without attacking each other.

    I'm no fan of either.

Pac is a **** for beating Morales, Barrera and getting a win over Marquez and singing as ****ing bad as you can get.

    Floyd is just a ****

Let them (the 'fans') **** and moan it's funny to read.

To be honest I believe most of these bloggers never put on some gloves in their lives, I can tell by some of the threads that some of the bloggers have no athletic bone on their body, why else would they say the things they say. The truth is if you ever been sparring or training in any sport you would have a different outlook on boxing.

Pacquiao and Mayweather should collaborate on a song together. Mayweather will try once again to rap and Pacquiao can do the hook.

i dont know how old most of you are im 34 and i been raised in boxing i still remember watching cooney holmes hagler hearns with my dad and we are losing that to mma and im not an mma hater but the best mma fight is not even in the top 50 as exciting as the best boxing match i have seen the only problem in boxing is the best fighters arent fighting each other that was a trend that started in th 90's the promoters dont realize a fighter doesnt lose his creditabilty caus of a loss if its a good fight for the most part fighters wanna fight promoters duck people and pac has never once 2 my ears said he wanted to fight floyd and he had him and what has been goin on in other sports i dont blame floyd for wanting the drug test we wouldny want that fight to be tainted like the 98 baseball season a few years down the road
