If Floyd's side has been sensitive about the gloves, cup, beard, etc... then no doubt in my mind he'll be sensitive to how Manny wraps his hands. Remember against Algieri, Tim Lane freaked out because he didn't like how Manny used the tape. I'm pretty positive Mayweather's side will freak out too, so do you expect Manny to comply or not? NSAC said Manny's technique was fine when Algieri brought up the issue. Will they do the same this go round?
1st post so dont shoot me if there is an obvious answer to this but what kind of issue would Floyd have with Mannys cup? What kind of advantage would a different cup serve? he shouldnt be punching him in the nuts anyway. The gloves and hand wraps i can understand but his cup?? Is it just a case of throwing in little moans everywhere he can to unsettle Manny?
Claim is to make sure his cup is regulation size and covers only the appropriate areas. Doesn't want it extending up and covering part of his midsection under his trunks. Just more mind games IMO
Yeah, but Mayweather plans to work the body. He has the best body jab in the business, and the body hook can slow or even stop Pac's side to side movement. Mayweather doesn't want Pac to get away with anything, and don't think that Freddie wouldn't use a larger No-Foul protector or cup to get an advantage.
:huh Pac get away with anything? Freddie trying to get an advantage? When have they been caught or accused of these type of things? To my knowledge, neither has a history of doing anything remotely like this. Based on what has been leaked to the media, it does sound like Floyd plans to work the body. It's all part of the A-side head games that Floyd's camp likes to play.
