The move by Mayweather to pay for the Hernandez funeral makes me respect him more than I did before. A lot more.

I believe he calls it "making it rain", and if memory serves me right Floyd was accused of using fake money.

I dunno man, Floyd doesn't come across to be the generous type with his money. Seems too consumed with his money to want to give it away willy nilly. Seen an interview where he said he bashed his ex because she had no right to kick his bentley which cost him alot of money. He has a great love for his money. And If Floyd has lost alot of his earnings, more likely it would've gone to the taxman and probably all the bets where he didn't show us the ticket.

Good-hearted deed by him though. Surprising only because we all think he's the ***** he acts like most of the time. The boxing community generally comes together whenever one of their own is in need of help. We saw Arum, who is even more hated than Floyd, do something similar in helping Genaro with his cancer treatments. Props to Floyd, and may god bless Genaro Hernandez

Even if it's PR, which it partly is (front page on ESPN boxing), it's still a nice thing.

But like someone else has said, it's only news cause Floyd is considered a greedy ***** by most people. Other people in boxing who are not known the same way wouldn't get this kind of hype for doing this.

since i know yall watch the 24/7's and the fights how can you not tell that the 'money' mayweather is a total persona? you can tell in his post fight interviews, stuff like this, things he says about his opponents post fight etc.
and btw im certainly not a floyd fan (except for his boxing skills)
