Firstly i want to say sorry my english is ****,so don't read if you don't have anything else to say than your english sucks.

I admit i am a Mayweather fan to extreme, bit i'm little bored of the talk about her next opponent Khan?Garcia?these kids are good but no where the level of mayweather.Between 140-154 there is no interesting options anymore, except Pacquaio but that fight never will happen because bob arum.So let's move on,my point is that may is already one of the greatest, but if may want really people to speak that he is the best. may have to move up.I know may is too small at MW but i want to see him push himself to the extreme Win or Lose because that kind of stuff is legendary and can't not be overlooked when her career is over.I only want to see how far he can go,because i honestly feel that between 140-154 there is nothing to do anymore, there is nobody who is big enough name or treath to may.May should RETIRE if he stays where he is now because there's nothing to prove anymore.I want to see him against Martinez for MW title and show to the world that he is the greatest, that certainly would be remembered in history books. And why Martinez and not GGG?there is simple reason and that is nobody knows who the hell is Golovkin.Martinez is well known lineal MW champion, after Martinez i would like to see floyd defending the belt against Golovkin and then retire or do the impossible and go after Ward and after that retire. The onlu reason that i want to floyd do that is to prove to the public that he is the greatest and after that not many would argue about that.Floyd is already one of the greatest i only want to see him push himself like other truly great champions like Duran. There is nothing he can gain from fighting Garcia,Khan,Alexanders of the world.we already know floyd is going to win easy i simply want himself to prove little bit more or RETIRE.please somebody say if i'm too harsh on may or do you agree, and please say what may would gain for fights against current WW's besides shitloads of money and retire undefeated. And i don't care if floyd loses to martinez,GGG or Ward i only say okey that's the limit for small man he was supposed to lose!please floyd go against all the odds and move up after that no one will say you are scared, other greats have moved up and proved them against all odds now is your turn!I wont complain if floyd stays between 140-154 and then retire,he is one of the greatest!i'm only talking if he wants to be remembered as GOAT.

He's already at his max at 154, matter of fact he can't even make 154 on fight night lol. Therefore how the **** would he be able to fight at middle weight?

If it's Floyds legacy that concerns you, then it's probably GGG that he should be fighting. Maravilla has been, and is a great champion, but his last outing showed that he is no longer at his best. Speculatively he has only a coupla of big fights left in him, and the consensus is that GGG is the heir apparent. Both GGG and Martinez have stated a willingness to go down to 154, but with time and injury rapidly catching up with Maravilla, Golovkin would have to be considered the tougher fight. That said, the Sergio then GGG route is feasable, but it'd be a travesty for FMJ to take the lineal title from an aging Maravilla, then fail to defend, thus ending the Hopkins lineage from 2001.

Unfortunately, unless there's a thaw in the HBO/SHO cold war, neither will happen. There's always Quillin, I suppose, with his lonesome belt, but I can't honestly see how that would benefit Floyds legacy.

For what it's worth though, I would very much like for Floyd to stretch himself to the limit, something we have yet to see, and a top MW might just provide the challenge necessary. Recalling that he fought 'Nelo at 152 however, do you think it likely that he goes to 160, however?

    why wouldn't he?
It's not like he has to weigh 154+ to be able to compete at MW. It's about to what point can his skill compensate for the difference in physical strength and height.

And what if he gets levelled inside a couple of rounds? Then at least he tried. Others in history have made far bigger jumps in weightclass and some even fought and beat top heavyweights (they were smaller back then) later in their careers.

Yes i know Floyd max is 154,however it's total bull**** people saying that he can't add couple of pounds. And still asking simply what the hell floud will gain from fighting at 140-154 there is absolutely no one who can add something to her already great legacy.Example how duran can make MW? I rate mayweather very high, about top 10 all time.but if he wants to be the best he have to do the impossible!i'm okay if he stays 147-154 but no one can claim after her career is over that he is the GOAT.extraordinary champs have been doing impossible thinks trough history!armstrong,Duran,Hearns,Jones etc...and yes i know Martinez is little bit too old and everything, but GGG don't have the public exposure like Martinez that's the only reason i want Floyd fight Martinez first, then GGG.I know HBO/Showtime is hard combination, but they have done it before.Too much politics nowadays absolutely hate it,and yes i don't think match against Quillin would do much for floyd legacy. And yes i honestly feel that floyd wants go to MW alltough he is too small, but he knows that the public maybe little skeptical him fighting Garcia, khan etc..and he knows that there is nothing he can gain fighting those kind of opponents.I only want Floyd to retire on unbeliavable fashion and that's moving up.

Still saying it's okay if floyd don't move up i only want him to do something truly amazing!
Already have done amazing thinks, but in MW is floyd's GOAT legacy, and that's one thing nobody could argue.that kind of stuff makes you legendary beyond the odds!

He swerved Manny, and wouldn't fight Alvarez unless it was at a catchweight.

So what would be the chances of him fighting GGG?

    NONE WHATSOEVER!

There's also nothing he can do to be declared as the GOAT, despite how great he is.

:huh Martinez has already proven himself on big stage, GGG so far has not.
Why should Mayweather´s legacy get better, fighting an untested hype.

Why would he go after GGG when GGG hasn't fought anyone on the level of Martinez or anyone on the level of Martinez best wins?
If he moves up to 160 & destroys GGG people would say GGG was just a media hype job, which he very well could be until he faces Martinez or at the very least Quillen or Pirog.
Floyd should take a stay busy fight with Khan in London while Martinez fights GGG and then move up to fight the one true champion & then if he really wants to put that exclamation mark on his legacy take on Ward & maybe Hopkins.
Then he'd definitely be in the GOAT argument especially if he managed to stay undefeated through that level of competition.

But what would be the chances of any of that happening?

Also, even if he did go up and beat a MW, I still don't see how he'd be the GOAT.

Leonard has win over Benitez, Hearns, Duran, and Hagler after a three year lay off.

    Floyd can't compete with that.

It would just be like Floyd/Manny to

    1. Move up to 160
    2. Avoid GGG and cherrypick the weakest trinket holder

Great post!completely agree that martinez should be number one choice.GGG is great but so far nothing more still than extreme hype,Martinez is still considered number 1 MW,GGG only by hardcore boxing fanatics and that's a FACT.some people don't get it that i don't criticise floyd not fighting in MW,i only want him push himself to the max and really see how amazing floyd is,like other greats have done.I also know many ATG'S have better opposition or atleast namevalue. But floyd can't fight anybody ever who got namevalue like SRL or Duran!Floyd got longevity multiple class champion and many many HOF on her resume and that's enough if he somehow move to MW and in dreamworld fight Ward, even losing to Ward he still can claim to be the best ever!and i don't want floyd to lose only want to see him challenge himself, because i honestly don't see any challenge at 140-154 that's my sole reason to stick firm behind floyd moving up!

Why's Floyd have to move up to middleweight ta be an ATG? Pep, basically, fought at feather for his whole career.

Bob Arum is reason why match with pacquaio never came true.and to be honest little bit floyd for demanding so much money over pacman, but floyd deserves more so i can't fully blame floyd. Both were little bit too greedy, that's my opinion and don't say SRL or someone else would have taken the fight in heartbeat, not in Arum's terms!world and boxing have changed so much past 30years.

I don't really mind about CW it's okay and accetable,i'm completely okay if floyd fought GGG or Martinez at 156-158 for MW title, and Ward maybe 164?of course dream scenario would be alvarez 154,martinez 160,ward 168 but it's what is.
