i have to come conclusion that mayweather fans are trying to protect floyd 0 more than floyd himself.and that's all what they care.i enjoy truly discussing with floyd "haters" who would like to see floyd get challenged like the old greats.i won't discuss this subject anymore,i only bring this up if floyd would actually move to MW.hope you remember to say still that floyd is ******,stupid etc..

Lots of fans would love to see Mayweather challenge for a MW title. It would garner a lot of interest. It just doesn't seem realistic. People keep mentioning past fighters, but times have changed. There are no more same day weigh ins, PPV has become the biggest revenue generator, and there are now network and promoter beefs of the likes that weren't seen in the past. I mean Sergio would be a great opponent, but he's locked in with HBO for two more fights. So Floyd couldn't fight him even if wanted to until like 2015.

I don't lol im a very big mayweather fan lol id love for him to go out unbeaten, id just like to see him shut people up once again and go to mw after everyone says he wouldn't dare etc... lol. Duran went from 130-160.. ? You say it as if floyd intentionally moved up through these weights and could make 130 again? lol he went up because he had to...

As i said, sergio would be a good fight, he's a small middleweight. The other guys are too big for him.. sergio could easily make 154. He hasn't done **** yet he's regarded as the number 1 middleweight, so it's irrelevant what you think, he's the best at middle and size wise isn't too much for floyd.

He's not going to ever shut people up...get over it.

If winning titles from 130 to 154 won't shut them up nothing will..

I never said or implied Floyd could make 130...i said it to remind you he has moved up plenty times alreay.

    BTW

Duran started at 135 and carried extra weight much better than Floyd.

why do you say names that i haven't even mentioned?

and no i dont't want so see floyd lose NEVER! what the hell is wrong with you?
because i have already said that floyd in my opinion would win against Martinez!
you don't want to see floyd fight against Martinez?and you call yourself a fan.as danny mentioned Martinez is not too big for floyd.and floyd need to do almost impossible thinks that he can have case for GOAT.and in my mind if floyd would win another title in new weight you could argue that.and if many think floyd is already GOAT,definetly winning MW title would raise floyd stocks for that, and you can't say your opinion is right and mine is wrong.

and by the way Hopkins rates floyd TOP 3.so in your mind also hopkins is ******ed and don't know **** about boxing?i bet you have better knowledge about boxing than b-hop :think

he is hater clearly danny.thinks that fighting khan would be totally same think legacy wise as Martinez.i bet Duran would also be ranked lot higher in ATG if he only have stayed in WW and skipped legendary matches against Hagler and Barkley.:patsch

Not an exact science?! WTF. :patsch Let's just put it this way, they never knew such little impact could have such permanent effects. Few, very few, might have suspected it years back, but no where in my studies was it indicated and empirically supported at such low traumatic levels.

Floyd can win a title at MW(against the right opponent). My point is, why take the risk and end up with serious damage when the man can't even make 154. There really is nothing left for him to prove. He will get recognized as an ATG. In his mind, he is the best ever. Future generations will argue about his exact placement, and there will never be a real consensus. One thing I think most will agree though is that he is an ATG and hall of famer.

His most ardent haters, would love to see him move up to MW, when he wins a title there, they will demand 168, 175, and heavy weight. lol They will just continue to move the goal post. It will never be enough. When someone doesn't like you, there is nothing you can do to change that.

    Ha!

Floyd has NEVER beaten an ATG while they were in their prime. That's a fact. Did he make Castillo and Oscar look inferior?

None of those past greats would be landing much on Floyd?

    Really?

Are you going to try and explain to me how you think that Floyd would have beaten Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns. :good

No, Joe never fought an ATG in his peak.

I was just stating the fact that Floyd hasn't, and he walks around proclaiming he's the best ever. That's why threads like these get made.
