do you honestly believe the 1pound made ANY difference in the fight? I say 1 pound cuz Canelo weighed in at 153 against Trout.

ALso, do you think Floyd SHOULD fight at middle weight for any reason other than you wanted to see the man lose? Yes, 'skills pay the bills', but size discrepancy will also play a role if he jumps to the middle weight division. He can't even fill out super welter on fight night.

FLoyd is ****ed no matter what he does. Oh he's scared of Canelo. He schools him. Now it's, FLoyd must go up to 160 to prove his credentials. What happens then?

The difference with Floyd is that he'd still be fighting at the welterweight limit if we still had same day weigh ins. BUt he's fighting super middleweights come fight night in today's era.

    Ha!

Of course the weight didn't make any difference.

    But it highlights his mentality.

If he refused to fight Saul Alvarez at 154, as if he's going to fight someone at 160.

    It's laughable!

I don't think he should fight at 160, but this is a man who proclaims he's better than Ray Leonard, and he's the GOAT.

Floyd is in a no win situation, but his mouth has put him there.

He says he's the best, and he wanted Cotto at 154. But then all of a sudden, he can't fight Canelo there, even though he doesn't care about his rehydration weight.

Manny would have been easy work, yet he was issuing testing demands on the back of a rumour, when Cotto, JMM, Marg, Hatton, De La Hoya etc, had no issue signing the contracts to fight him.

If you claim to be the GOAT, but try and claim all the PPV revenue for a Manny fight, then you're going to get these types of threads.

The whole world wanted to see that fight.

If it had've happened, I suspect that there'd be less threads of this nature.

But he's walking around pretending to be the GOAT, he's missed the Manny fight, and he's never beaten an ATG while prime.

So people want to see these MW fights.

Because there's nobody of interest at 147 and 154, and people aren't satisfied.

He's only been at 154lbs three times. Two of the fights, (even though he won) showed us that he's a bit vulnerable at that weight. This last fight was a lot better then the last two, but I think 154lbs is his max. Floyd is not a big guy, he said the day of the fight he woke up and weight less then what he did during the weight in, which was the day before. Fighting at 160lbs would be a challenge just getting to the weight, clearly he would loose a step or two when it comes to speed, which is one of his key weapons now. Also one would have to take into consideration the size of a natural 160 pound fighter on fight night. Who could come into the ring at 175 to 180lbs. There's a reason for weight classes which is the reason why they have them. Notice Bhop is asking to fight Floyd at 160 and not 154, because 154lbs would be clearly out of his comfort zone.

its nothing to do with that
people aren't satisfied because he's beaten all the legit challengers (except pac), and nobody else will threaten him

people only want him to go to MW to see him lose

to be an elite athlete, you have to BELIEVE you're the **** (i think MJ said it that way but less profanity).

On the same token, Canelo, MOsley, Ortiz, Guerrero didn't have a problem submitting themselves to increased testing. I, for one, applaud Manny for increased testing now...wish he would have started back when the Floyd fight was at a fever pitch.

I agree with you, I wish the Canelo fight was at 154 just so ****tards wouldn't use it as another excuse or bullet point to hate on. Canelo could have weighed in at 154 and that fight would have gone EXACTLY the same.

    Manny missed the Floyd fight.

Mayweather will only do this if Pac agreed to all terms.. (drug test, no share in PPV, sign under TMT), and then he will ask Pac that the fight will happen if it was at 160

Plankman had a 5050 split and a 14 day cutoff right under his coke-snorter but he bolted to fight the already signed Clottey.

I bet that dummy is kicking himself for passing up that sweet deal.

why you don't want see the full potential of floyd?only trolls would say stupids thinks like i told you so,never any good when stepping up.i think most people only want to see how good floyd really is win or lose.and haters maybe would dismiss the win.but no history book would.that would be legendary stuff!

and honestly many people rate floyd very high and want to see how high floyd can go and still compete, because we never know how long it will take to new floyd to born.the name of the boxing is challenge yourself and find your limits.

and also many people rate floyd GOAT,i'm only arguing that it's impossible to archieve in modern era, without doing something crazy.floyd don't have the resume to compete against other GOAT candidates.so only way he can do that in someway is to move up.i'm totally okay if floyd stays WW but it's impossible to find ATF fighters there.garcia, khan, alexander are all really good boxers but hardly HOF material.

only want floyd prove himself and fans who claim he is GOAT,i respect and still be big fan of floyd if he stays WW nothing wrong with that.only think floyd is one of a kind boxer, and he can definetly beat the odds at MW.and the biggest fights possbile for floyd are in MW believe or not.me personally don't care if fighter is undefeated or not,i hate that in people's eyes you have to be undefeated if not then you are rated as can.and like floyd have overcome every obstacle in his career, now he should find new challenges or retire.sadly i think boxing is so much about money and it's th only reason for floyd keep going.nobody see any challengers for floyd at 147-154 can you say me one match you are interested?you know i know everybody knows Garcia,Khan,Alexander,Brooks floyd wins easy on points.what's the point for that?boxing is all about proving yourself and sometimes going against odds and still win, that makes you legendary in every way.
