Anyone noticed "Pretty Boys" improved mature gentleman approach to "Numero Uno". He played this before Zab Judah, and people were like "He has finally matured from the "arrogant silly brat".
I think in general the guy is mature. I don't think Floyd gets credit for being a good business man, because part of boxing, is the the ability to sell/market your self. I think he just enjoys playing the role of a villian
In Floyds defense tho... Those media peep's ask the same ****en Q's a million times over & over.. **** is frustrating to me, I can only imagine how he feels. I think if anything Floyd has grown to understand that the peoples champ don't have to be "Undefeated" & "Flying high in the friendly sky" ect... (Look at fighter's like Pac/Hatton/JMM their public loves them win/lose/draw get KTFO..) Floyd is ready for that now, IMO.
Jonny Nelson, former WBO Cruiserwight champion, post Hatton/Pacquiao was of the conviction, and I mean he was utterly convinced that should the "Pacman" fight Mayweather - the little philipino would prevail. And this guy Nelson loves Mayweather.
Because of the questions around the weight jump for JMM, Floyd has to "talk up" his opponent and not denigrate him. I have little doubt he puts the face forward that he thinks best sells the fight. Zab was coming off a loss in their fight so that wasn't a time to be attacking him. When the "villain" role seems needed, he'll provide it.
i was at the press conferance in l.a yesterday and floyd was very humble. thanked god, his children and his mother for being in the position he was in. i know all that **** talking is just for the cameras, and he does enjoy giving back the community. but the floyd **** talking is entertaining.
, I'd officially like to strike my OG post from the record. They still asking Floyd the same stuff tho, no offense but **** Pacquaio. (He don't have **** to do w/ Floyds fight on the 18th)
