****, Mayweather was scared to fight Margarito...

There is a 30 minute, documented YOUTUBE video on that subject alone.

No, because he'll say, Pac beat those guys already, why should I fight them?

I'm pretty sure Floyd is not going to get in there with Pac. He knows what kind of fight he's in for. No way he just outboxes him. He's going to have to fight and show the kind of toughness he's never shown before. I'll make a bet the fight doesn't happen.

here is a timeline of mayweather's chances to fight pac since his retirement

    1. Mayweather annnounces his fight with JMM a day before Pac fought Hatton

    2. Mayweather shat his pants seeing hatton crumpled and knocked down three times within two rounds.

    3. Mayweather beat JMM but decided to let pac fight cotto and hoping pac would get softened up before he signs up for a pac bout.

    4. Pac battered cotto, then clottey, now margarito and mayweather says hell no, he's not risking a career-ending beating with this beast.

He was probably practicing his backhand slap for better KO power considering he couldn't knock his women out, the first time. Ding ding ding...

I give you credit capfunds. You were on the Margarito bandwagon first before any of these scrubs were.

But you have to admit you were wrong. Margarito is not a good fighter and Mayweather fighting Margarito would have been pointless.

Other than the fact that PBF is 5x the athlete that any of the above referenced guys are. That doesn't translate to being a better fighter, but he's yet to fight and beat a guy who is an elite "athlete". He out athletes every person he's fought by such a wide margin that he can't help but win. It minimizes any deficincies he may have in terms of defense, strategy, etc. He is able to zoom in and out throw punches at will, with no reprocussions because his opponents aren't as fast, aren't as quick, aren't as explosive and are all cut from relatively the same cloth. He would absolutely have a much more difficult time doing what he's done lately against someone who athletically can match him. That being said, he is such a phenominal athlete himself that this person would be difficult to find, but the closer he gets (to finding said opponent) the closer to normal he will look. PBF is every bit the athlete that Pac is and there is no way he will get away with standing and throwing at will the way he has lately.

practicing for what? running away from his opponents?

Hendo I think Floyd watched up to round 4 then cried on his Ellerbe's arms when PAC started to beat up a guy he once ducked.

if they do fight can you seriously see floyd letting manny get anywhere near him?

i cant and even if manny does land it wont have the full force behind it cos floyd deflects most shots or move's back and takes the sting out of the shots......

no way would floyd get beat up like margo.....NO WAY

I'd prefer a Cotto vs. Rockgloves rematch. Pacquiao vs. Cotto was too decisive to really warrant a rematch. No reason to believe it goes any differently. Plus, we know Cotto would have to cut weight to make the fight happen anyhow, so I see no point going down that road again.
