Looks like it may be slowly coming together. You got a lot of active fighters that admire his skill. Fighters from all over come to the Mayweather gym just to watch him train. As they watch the hard work he puts in, it inspires them to work harder. When they see the lifestyle, it inspires them to try to take it to the next level. You got kids in boxing gyms that admire his skill. If Mayweather Promotions is not successful, Team Mayweather has no one to blame but themselves. Fighters all over the world admire Mayweather. Hell he doesn't even reach out to these guys, these guys like Dirrell, Gamboa come to see him. They act like little kids watching their idol in action.
We'll truly see how good of a trainer Roger is because he's building some kids up from the ground up. The blackapino they've got there and cash flow, haha. May Promotions definitely has a future.
I am a Mayweather Jr (in the ring and his positives outside of the ring) fan, but his success will also be measured by how he negotiates. He's enjoyed control and success being out from under Arum. He just needs to make sure he doesn't put himself in positions to always get the bigger cuts for his fighters because of who HE is and that he doesn't prevent fights from happening to protect his fighters, and be cautious of his cut from the events and purses. Or else he could become that man he seems to loath so much.
when athletes/entertainers/etc get in a room with someone they grew up on it makes them feel like kids again
Er, the roster looks like a great promotional project, but these fighters were solid (and hopefully will continue to be) without watching Floyd train. I think Mayweather promotions can fast-track a lot of great matches and get some of the less active fighters on their rosters back into the groove.
