Golden Boy Promotions had options on Floyd for one fight post the DLH vs. Floyd fight. It was part of the negotiations leverage Oscar negotiated that If Floyd won, Golden Boy Promo had options on Floyd's next fight which happens to be Hatton.. Floyd is trying to set up Mayweather Promotions and they figure this is a good way to minimize their risk and maximize their gains.
