Yeah Floyd went out of line in that last interview, the HBO crew are not racist.

Floyd fought him and won every round and made him look like a fool. At the time, hadn't Baldomir not lost in many years and was been touted as a bigger, tougher man that could bring a new level of intensity on Floyd that might make him wilt. Leonard never fought Pryor although Pryor regularly showed up at Leonard's press conferences challenging him in front of the cameras. Yet Leonard is praised anf Floyd is criticized.

 

No one has ever won five titles in six weight classes without losing and every really even being in trouble in a fight. You ever see Mayweather hurt? De La Hoya is a very good talent, but don't think for a moment that he has Floyd Sr. as his trainer becuase he doesn't want to emulate Floyd's style.

 

I still think he owes us/boxing a little something back for all that boxing has given him. Billions of people around the world would do and endure far more for far less then PBF has, and not bitched the whole time.

 

As far as being a man, boxing has failed PBF in teach him how to be one. Other then that boxing has been great for him.

 

Leonard didn't fight Pryor, but he fought Duran 3 times, Hearns twice, Hagler, Benitez, and Camacho

Floyd didn't fight Cotto, but he fought Oscar, and who else? Hatton, Castillo, Hernandes and Corrales? Those guys don't belong in the same sentence as Duran, Benitez, Hearns, Hagler, and Camacho.

 

No, you guys dont seem to realize that Mayweather, in the publics eye, is trying to be someone he's not. He is trying to be another Muhammad Ali or Sugar Ray Leonard, he just doesnt have the natural born charisma or personality to do so. Therefore he forces it out, he stutters, he's inarticulate, he's boring. He doesnt have the natural gift of gab of other greats like Ali or even Toney. He is trying but he can not do it. He doesnt have the matinee idol looks of Oscar De La Hoya or the charm to rise into the mainstream and hang out with the hollywood elite like Louis or Robinson. Mayweather has one thing and thats a helluva lot of talent to FIGHT and to beat the best. If only god had blessed him with the mind to get people on his side, then he could be the biggest athlete in the world. Instead, he's a champ in the ring, but a bum in the publics eyes.


Side note: It has been reported that Mayweather donates to many charities and sets up many fund raising events. So though Mayweather does not have the gab to impress people, he has a good heart below all the nonsense. Just leaving that out there.

Yu are not asking me, but let me try to answer you.

Floyd is not dumb, not at all....he's problem is a psychological one. He can't control his mind.... or to put it in a different prospective he can't control his emotions..

Floyd likes attention....he also likes to be told that he's a great guy and handsome and of course that he's the best boxer ever. He's narcissist.

If people say something that might not sound good to his ears, then he react like an idiot, or I would say like a child, and that is when he gets himself in trouble.

He has a tendency to lose his temper very fast, specially if he feels that he doesn't get the attention he craves, and is in this state of mind when he behaves really stupid, and become vulnerable.

In some degree he has similar problems as Mike Tyson and Michael Jackson.

When Floyd is in the ring he feels he's the king (same as Michael Jackson when he is performing) and certainly he has the goodies to believe that. We believe that too, we do believe that he has the goodies but we expect more from the great ones and he falls short.

Fighters like PBF are one of the main reasons why MMA has taken off like it has. In MMA the best usually fight each other. They don't normally duck fighters people want to see them fight, plus the Orgs. listen to the fans and try to make those fights happen.

 

Baldomir is a slow fighter open to any punch mayweather could throw and is a damn tomatoe can. Perfect to make a fighter look amazing an all he did was run. What do you think cotto would of did to him or mosely?? Mayweather jab jab run..... repeat.
