 Baldomir is the WEAKEST WW champ we've ever had. There were many WW's who could have won that title from him that night. But Mayweather saw his easy opening to the 147 crown. An easy title which he hasn't defended against a top WW.

Camacho couldn't carry Floy'd jock strap. Hatton only has one loss and for years was touted as the man who would beat Floyd. It's amazing how much Hatton's reputation has been downgraded since losing to him. And Corrales when he beat him was also very respected and I believe undefeated. Floyd annihilated him, Gatti, and others. Granted, Leonard's comp was much much better than floyd's. It's just the way Floyd beats people; he beats them convincingly, rarely geting hit while landing incredibly high punch percentages on his opponents.

perception is reality, and if he is perceived as a runner and a boring fighter then guess what, he is.

Hatton was NOT TPOUTED as the man who would beat Floyd. Who touted him that? Most people here picked Mayweather, so who knows where you get your information.

He was a great champion.. A whole whopping 1 title defense against an old gatti. If mayweather is an exciting fighter like he thinks he is against a person who shouldnt even be in the ring with him he should of KO or TKO him. Instead it was a **** poor perfomance and it showed all the people were leaving in the middle of the fight..

Baldomir was the undiputed champ, plain and simple. He was bigger and stronger than anyone Money May had faced up till that point. And Cotto at that time wasn't nearly the fighter he is today.

Hatton with his relentless pressure was touted by many to be the answer for Floyd, as was Baldomir.
I heard and seen many commentators suggest that Baldomir could upset Floyd; Manny Steward, consistent Floyd critic being one of them. Actually, I think Manny leans towards the other fighter every time Floyd fights.

Doesnt matter.... Floyd could of through the kitchen sink at him he was so open and instead he did nothing but make a shitty fight. You dont get that from a pavlik or pac man. They are fighters, thats why they get more attention.

 Baldomir was shorter then Floyd. Had only KO'd 11 of 60 fighters. And of those 11, how many were any good? Don't kiss the ass of Baldomir just because Mayweather beat him in a boring ass fight. Baldomir would have been beat by a # of WW's.

I asked you by who, not to repeat yourself. YOU Said he was touted as the man to beat Mayweather. Where was he touted that and by whom?

And please, Steward saying Baldomir CAN win doesn't mean he said he WOULD win.

you bring up only Camacho when SRL fought Duran 3 times, Hearns twice, Hagler, and Benitez. You're reaching.

Compare ODLH to Duran  Hatton to Hearns  Castillo to Hagler  GATTI to Benitez  :rofl

Floyd's resume is not even at the ankle of SRL's

Don't ask me that "Are tyou saying...." **** becuase chances are, I'm not saying anything CLOSE to what you think. Mayweather had options @ 147, and he took Baldomir no matter what you say. And don't think Judah is anything special either. Judah and Baldomir are two of the most beatable WW champs we've had. And if you think you're as smart as you are, you'd agree with that.

Yeah, and I didn't care to see Cotto vs. Mayweather @ 140 eithers. Who wanted to see a 21-0 Cotto fight Mayweather who had been tested and big fights already.

Yes, he did beat the last two undiputed champs. Thw two arguably WORST WW champs. And since Mayweather retired w/o really defending his WW title, he fits right with them as not good champs.

You said most touted him as the man to beat Mayweather. Again...I asked who? If you were making a generalization or just said that becuase it sounded good, admit that at least.

ONe thing you seem to not understand is, Mayweather vs. Hatton made sense @ 140. 147 does not suit HAtton, which showed greatly in his two fights there. That is why that win had lost some lustre.

To be honest, I have Hearns winning the second fight and the Hagler win was arguable as well.
