He could whoop GGG at 154, and the casuals will still find a way to complain. Once a hater always a hater, thats how it works.

Mr. C has been posting as long as I have but he has about 39000 more posts than I do. They are mostly defending Floyd. I can almost guarantee that. If I post anything that is not kissing Floyds @s5 or anything surrounding Floyd, he comes to the rescue. No joke

These guys are better than Berto. Algieri was coming off a win over Provodnikov. Rios right now is hot property as Brook wanted to fight him to which not a lot of people are up in arms about.

I'm a Mayweather fan and I wouldn't buy this fight on PPV. But I will watch with glee on CBS. My feeling is when he defeated Pacquio, his career was completed. He's fighting this last match because of his contract. And the $40 or $50mil he's pocketing. I would much rather him fight a more dangerous opponent. But it's no biggie. I'll salute Floyd for his career and have a few drinks during the fight. I'm looking forward to it.

Close fight. Could've gone either way. Regardless, Algieri overcame a huge stylistic advantage and made Khan look bad right after the loss. He'd also most likely shut-out Berto.

I think Rios would beat Berto at this stage too.

Salka wasn't even ranked in the top 100 at the time. Berto is at least a ranked welterweight.

Embarrassing fight but he has come off a murderer's row of Canelo, Maidana x2 and Pacquiao... there are four fighters several rungs above Berto who are available, Keith Thurman, Shawn Porter, Amir Khan and Kell Brook... Garcia is fighting Malignaggi, Bradley is with top rank, Matthysse is with another promoter and not at 147 yet.

If Floyd is trying to rationalize this because Pacquiao fought Rios and Algieri, well, Rios was one of the only names left in that stable he hadn't fought and who was semi-known and Algieri beat Provodnikov who was going to fight Manny next. Berto beat ****ing Lopez and hasn't been relevant for ages and with several superior options, not world beaters but solid enough competitors, it's a bad move but I guess it's something different and even a half motivated Mayweather oughta put Berto away 11-1.

Unless the plan is for number 50 to do something spectacular, whoever beats Berto gets him so Floyd Mayweather Jr vs Floyd Mayweather Jr - 50-1, everybody's happy. Just put different gloves on them and you're good to go.

He might well. Pac was just bad that night.

Is this whole thing about Berto banging Floyd's ex or something?

Maybe Floyd'll go out with a KO.

At any rate there is no way I am buying ppv unless there is a legit co-main event.
