After much consideration, I gotta put this man above guys like Harry Greb, Hank Armstrong, Muhammad Ali, Sugar Ray Robinson, Sam Langford, Ezzard Charles, etc.

I didn't want to, but after much consideration/thorough pondering, I gotta give this man the credit that he so richly deserves.

The guys I listed above are clearly some of the greatest fighters to ever live with resumes that are just extraordinary. But what Mayweather has done clearly sets him apart from the rest, he ranks above - if only so slightly.

Floyd Mayweather- The Best Ever as well as

    The Greatest Ever.

He sure is. Now hopefully he stays on the promotional side and let the young guys have their turn.

Well to be fair he does love giving money to Floyd. Floyd is just doing him a favor by giving him another excuse to add to the Money retirement plan. Haha

Ali had gift decisions all of the time AND WASNT NEARLY as dominant.

Joe louis fought in a much weaker era

    ray robinson fought bums

Ali had as many "gift decisions" as Mayweather himself.

Louis fought all comers and set a record for dominance and title defenses. You can't really ask more of him.

Robinson fought better competition than Mayweather, all things considered.

    Exactly.

Ali had no "gifts". They were just close fights that he won. The only fight of his that you could argue was a gift is Norton III.

OP is telling us that the boxing's GOAT lost to Jose Luis Castillo, got his stool pushed in by Marcos Maidana, and juiced and fought like a scared ho against tiny ass Pacquiao and should have lost?
