This is the reason why PBF can't be considered p4p no. 1. He states his biggest threats are not well-known enough, then he takes on Baldomir and Gatti.

It's okay, that he only wants to secure money, but he will not be more than a footnote in boxing history.

I think there's nothing wrong with Mayweather chasing money; boxing is a business and only some of the very best/some of the luckiest can make that much money...but...just because you fight the big money fights and win, that doesn't mean you are the best in the world.

The two don't always go hand in hand. And in this case, they pull in opposite directions.

C;mon Decebal he's CHASED money with DLh and Hatton. There's no excuse for those 2 again back to back when Cotto's is available.

In a recent vid? Floyd claims he did 3.5 himself??
Add in that Cotto has the better 147 resume and his PPV buys are where Floyd was just 2 fights ago??

You have smoke, mirrors, and excuses:-(

Cotto is a very big money and respect fight. Yet? Its the same pattern and he manages time after time to avoid the tougher opponents. Mayweather is pissing away what could be a GLORIOUS career if he backs up his words.:good

Many of you guys missed the most important part of that. ARUM...BOB fuking Arum isnt going to allow this fight to happen.

Did anyone catch the part were floyd said if Cotto wants the fight he needs to become his own CEO....Meaning Leave Arum we can make the fight.

2 years ago Floyd Asked Arum to make the fight with Cotto. Arum wanted nothing to do with that fight, which is when all the talk about Margorito started. Then it was the Oscar fight that came along and Arum stated that he would never deal with Oscar..so Floyd left Arum and top rank to make the fight with Oscar. Cotto will most likely have to do the same...Funny thing is Arum had to work with GBP in order to get the fight with Mosley..So why then cant he work with Floyd to get the fight done with him and Cotto???? Arum isnt going to let Cotto anywere near Floyd....

    Give me a ****in break...

Floyd can say all day and night that Cotto needs to do more, but that's bull****. Cotto's the #1 guy for Floyd and if Floyd can't see that, then he should fight DLH, Hatton and ****in retire.

BULL****:yep Would the lakers not face the celtics cuz they dont like the GM??:rofl There's no championship paralell for that idiotic logic. You wanna hurt Arum? Beat COTTO!!!! It'll be a huge money amking event and would only improve Floyd's position with a win.

Floyd doesnt control the sport and wont fight anyone who dont own themselves?? I guess he's RETIRED THEN HUH?:-(

Why did Floyd want Cotto, who was considerbly greener, and not even close to be as established as he is now. WHat did he have, like 23 fights when Floyd wanted him?

NOthing that has happened in the past should be relevent. Today is all that matters.

    ----------------------

Floyd's bitterness against Arum is getting pretty ridiculous. Can ANYONE say WHY Floyd Hates Arum so much?

Don't know. Before he left Arum, he was calling him the best promoter in the world.

I saw it in a video, wish I could find it.

 Ya know that point slipped my mind:-(

After all the time spent hearing about we offered Cotto and I countered with it would have been like DLH offering Floyd while he was at 130?
I should have thought about it along those lines :-(

It so proves the Arum angle is absolute HORSE****!! Or was it those "offers"?:huh :rofl
