Shane never offered money he was called out on national TV on two seperate occasion - never responded ... when the deal was proposed to team Mosley they declined on two different occasions, Margarito proved himself losing to an up and comer and never taking the fight w/ Cotto, now he has to work his way up but his chances of landing a fight w/ PBF are over.

Winky couldn't make the 154 pound limit since his fight with SSM in 04 and has been campaigning at 160 and above every since.

It is about legacy ... but when you've paid your dues you're not just going to fight any old Joe - just because. They have to bring something to the table ...

Margarito brings nothing to the table ... he lost to an up and comer -- he still co-headlines boxing after dark ... he can't headline a venue by himself ... he's never been on PPV ... he doesn't have alot of fan fair.

SSM is at the end of his rope and w/ 5 L's on his resume is far beyond the fighter he was when PBF called him out ... PBF was at the Collazo fight and SSM was talking about a vacation ... then turns around and accepts a fight w/ Cotto.

It wasn't beating Baldomir that added to Mayweather's legacy, it was the fact that he won the linnear welterweight championship in the process. Baldomir without the title did nothing for Mayweather. Cotto is a young undefeated fighter in his prime, he's the only fight right now at welterweight that adds to Floyds legacy. While the first fights with DeLahoya and Hatton added to Floyd's legacy, the rematches do nothing for him in that respect.

 

Shane said all along that he would fight him after FMJ-DLH, Fraud ducked him after seeing Hatton struggle in his only fight at 147 and Shane dominating the same guy - Collazo.

Winky is on record saying that he would make 154 to make the fight happen, Fraud ducked again.

By the time AM got in the ring with PW, Fraud had long since ducked his 8 mil + free agency offer . . .the lost to PW is a mute point here.

It's completely unfair for the champ to have a 2 year pass while all the other top opposition battle. That's why he shouldn't be the champ if he doesn't fight any of the top WWs.

 

He has done more than his share to fight Floyd. He's beaten the most skilled Welter weights in the division. He has knocked out both Zab and Quintana who now holds a belt, and he beat shane....the man who was supposed to beat FMJ
