The funny thing is that there's proof to what I wrote ... there's no proof to what you wrote. :hi:

There was no PPV back then and boxing was more popular ... hell back then boxing was on regular tv ... no cable was need to watch a fight ... so hagler and leonard do not come into play ...

both of these guys are stars w/ Mayweather being the bigger star ... he's accomplished more than Cotto throughout his career and is now in the driver's seat as far as negotiations go.

he has leverage over Cotto and can make any demand that he wants ... Cotto is a newbie when it comes to this **** and has to get his weight up ...

Floyd is at a place now where every fighter he fights has to bring something to the table ... that WBA strap holds no clout because Cotto didn't beat anyone for it ...

Cotto has to get recognition for fighting a champion and dethroning him ...

Lets put the truth out here.........

Mayweather dosent want to fight Cotto-

Becuase it provides a tough matchup for lesser reward compared to fighters bigfan based fighters like hatton (but has less skill) or a faded De la Hoya.

Does it mean he is scared.........no of course not BUT in his mind and all the guys around........he proven himself already thus his stints in wwe for a 3 mill and rematchs with de la hoya and hatton.

Guys like Mayweather and Hatton......once they think they have proven themselves and there ATG status.......start to pick and choose who they fight, when they fight......and generally are on a downward slope. Look at Lewis after Tyson or even Tyson after spinks.

Not necessarily. See Floyd's calculating that Cotto could lose and if so? NO MORE FIGHT. It's BS!! PBF should fight Cotto after DLH. There shouldnt even be a DLH 2 fight, but we know there will be.

floyd will fight cotto when he gets ready, not when boxing fans wants him to.hoya and hatton or next for him it seems and you can blame themy guys for wanting to rematch with floyd and paying him all that money to do so.

floyd has options and hoya and ricky seem to be next, if cotto is still great after that time has passed (which i think he still will be) then you will have your mayweather vs cotto ! But on floyds terms and only his terms !

it is what it is !

more of that irish whiskey in your veins, you ****ing idiot can't even articulate what the **** your talking about:deal name shane's biggest victory outside of de la hoya:lol: :rofl :deal in case you forgot while shane was getting his ass kicked by vernon forrest at 147 oscar was kicking ass at 154:deal shane couldn't beat wright or forrest and he had 2 cracks at them.

this goes back to you calling floyd a fraud and a coward. My fields are business and science, yours apparentely is drinking and cussing about rich, successful african americans:deal my degrees are not in question, what is in question is your qualification to call a real fighter who has fought professionally a coward and a fraud when you never had the balls to step in the ring as a professional:admin :admin

Vernon? See, SSM did what a CHAMP does and took on Forrest at 47 while DLH said I dont wanna fight him either:yikes So how in the name of GOD does that make DLH better than SSM? IT DOESNT!!!

There's NO QUESTION you're 5 "Doctorates" are BULL****!! The entire board knows that:yep And what was you're reason for never fighting at all again?

Now SRR's amateur record matters?:nut :rofl And ***** Time? How many 15 and 20 round fights has Floyd had as a PRO?:rofl :rofl :rofl

Tszyu was UNIFIED! Was Floyd? Hmmmmmmmmm???? Remember higher AT at 140:yep Not higher than SRR or AP:nono

Winky was the best WHEN FLOYD CALLED HIM OUT:good Read you stupid, cowardly, racist, LIAR:good

Yes, my lips aren't attached to either fighters nut-sack.

I'm a big Cotto fan, but admit Floyd will likely have his way with him. The fight still needs to get made though.

Continue being clueless, your rep around here speaks for itself.
