Trust the fight will happen, yall have to be patient. I want this fight bad too, be patient folx. Look how long some fights in history took to happen, like Leonard vs Hagler. Shane would probably win 4 rounds or so, taking them on aggression and workrate. His defensive liabilities would cost him though in this fight with a more accurate puncher. My take is if Cotto had success going backwards, countering Mosley, while Mosley's aggression was seemingly ineffective for the most part, Mayweather could certainly do the same only better. But you're right, it wouldn't be a Kessler/Mundine type blowout.

that is very true. floyd can't be talking fan base when he doesn't have much himself. The only reason his fights against dlh and hatton made great sales is because of dlh and hatton, not him. I mean, if cotto and mayweather fight today cotto will have at least 10x the fans of mayweather. I dont know where he got the misinformation that cotto is not popular, i bet cotto had more fans attending in one fight that floyd had in his whole career
