Cotto has been rocked/stunned by Judah, Corley, and Torres. Neither of which are bums. In fact, all 3 have held belts at one point of another. Torres currently holds the WBO belt at 140 and getting rocked by him isn't something to be ashamed of.

Corley and Judah have stunned Floyd, too. Judah scored a knockdown on Floyd, but it wasn't counted and got his attention with a straight left hand. Corley hit Floyd and had him hurt for a second. However, Floyd recovered and Corley punched himself out.

I'd also like to mention Cotto's chin, at 147, is significantly better than it was at 140. He had to drain in order to make the weight limit, and speaking from experience as a former fighter myself (in the amateur ranks), it can take a lot out of you. When I drained in order to make lightweight, I missed it by a pound and wasn't allowed to sweat it off. Absolute worst decision I ever made.

With all due respect, Cotto had recovered from the counter left uppercut from Judah. He had thrown some hard body punches and one happened to stray low. In the 3rd round, he was clearly fine, beating Judah to the punch, when another strayed low.

A point deduction was in order though, so I have no problem with that.

I notice you're a little pre occupied with boxers nuts...maybe you should force yourself from watching their balls and pay a little more attention to the actual fight.:D

Ok my bad. Compared to Mayweathers level they arent bums. Compared to Cotto's level those were hard fought victories. Edging out guys like Malignaggi and Ndou by 2-3 rounds is a good stamp on young Cotto's career. Floyd better watch out.

Judah caught Floyd off balance and he touched his glove to the canvas. Corely caught Floyd flush and backed him into the ropes where floyd let him punch himself out. Clearly you people dont understand what I mean by rocked. :dead Out on you feet. Not knowing whether you are coming or going, that sort of hit. When Cotto is doing scissor kicks in the middle of the ring. Not stunned, not hit, ROCKED.

Its not the chin Im talking about really. Its the defense. If you are getting caught flush there is something wrong with how you protect yourself. Cotto has a tendency to get caught flush, and whos better at throwing shots you dont see then Floyd? Who has Cotto faced with Mayweathers speed? Noone.

I don't get what any of these posts have to do with why Mayweather isn't FIGHTING Cotto.

I see alot of reasons as to why he would beat him. Ok, that's great. But my guess is that most of the Mayweather fans thinks he beats DLH, Cotto, or anyone else around his weight. So your believing he will beat Cotto isn't a reason to not fight him.....otherwise, in your view he shouldn't fight anyone, since you think he will beat everyone.

If you want to be sarcastic, go ahead. By all means, feel free to do so. Just remember that technical pressure is the way to beat Floyd and Cotto has it. He's not the fighter he was at 140 where he had to fight in spurts and had a shaky jaw.

Surely you can admit that Floyd was stunned by Corley. It DID effect him for two or three seconds.

Zab Judah IS faster than Floyd. However, he lacks the mental strength and consistency.

    Anyways, I'm out.

Uhh as I've said before. Every floyd victory is a mini holiday for me. Because I spend the next week laughing at Floyd haters. Im just trying to be a good christian and telling these fools Cotto has no chance. Hell Cotto might not last the summer.

What you said before doesn't answer my question. Nothing you said there answers my question either.

Floyd wants a big payday before he drops him Duh! Its quite simple. If Cotto came out and said, Floyd i wanna kick your ass. Wham Bam fight is made. But Cotto is Arums robot. If Arums team wanted Floyd they'd call him out. What the hell has Cotto done to warrant Floyd calling him out? Shouldnt the lower ranked fight call out the true champion why is this on Floyd?

Mayweather has already said he will fihght Cotto so whats the big deal? Is it because he is not fighting Cotto when you all want him to fight him? I say be patient and no matter what happens Cotto will always be there for Floyd to fight him. It will happen.

Cotto said that Mayweather changes the subject everytime his name comes up and won't fight him.

Arum said that Mayweather will run from Cotto and always runs from real challenges.

Mayweather already had a big payday in his last 2 fights and won both of those fights. So he already had big paydays. And Cotto is also going to be a big payday. This is not a legit reason. He can always say that he wants a big payday. If he can use it as an excuse to rematch someone he recently defeated and who is past his prime, he can always use it.
