Mayweather retirement at 49-0 is to cover himself

    When he retires at 49-0 he will be remembered for leveling RMs record...... So if he losses #50 he will say it dont matter..... Could may be lining up golovkin for his 6th weight division title

    Plus he is all about the money.... Who else would bring in the £££££££££ that golovkin would..... Maybe pac oe canelo

    The canelo cotto fight has a rematch clause... Probably due from april, may time..... Id may dont fight again till 2017
    ..and ggg is still undefeated.... At the age of 35-36.... Money in the bank

    actually, if you read any MMA sites, or facebook pages, you hear mayweather almost as much as you hear rousey... :lol:

    Will that really even help though? I mean, he can say he retired, but if he fights again, win or lose, was he really retired? IMO, I wouldn't count that as tying, because it wasn't a real retirement. I don't know if there's a rule in this situation or not though.

    If Floyd Mayweather agrees to fight Golovkin at 154lbs, I will become a Floyd fan - win or lose.
    If he drains Golovkin below 154lbs, I will not give Floyd credit for taking that fight.

    Instead, he's fighting Andrew Burt because he's Duck Runhugger.
