BHop and Kovalev just fought and there are already half a dozen threads about Floyd by guess whom? *******s! Heck there were threads about Floyd IMMEDIATELY after Kovalev won.

I've also said GGG is the best ASIAN fighter out there.

 

Don't bother with *******s man, they only listen to speculation and rumors. You won't get them to debate a fact. You have to insult them to get their attention.

Well that defiantly didn't count then.. You said countless threads made.. The first 3 or more pages have 0.. If you want to talk about Floyd bashing, you can in any thread about anyone.. He is talked about year-round.. After every ppv, you can find threads about Floyd wouldn't have fought that guy, or x who won last night has a better legacy, or Floyd will duck him now, or it was more entertaining than Floyd....ect Usually the "bashing" that Pac gets is about the same thing Floyd great bashed for but it's ok for Pac...

Can someone please explain how not fighting in 2008 is a duck to the entire division? Cotto, Pacquiao, Margarito, etc were all still around and relevant in 2009. If he wanted to duck Pacquiao so bad, he could've just stayed retired. Why come back when Pacquiao gets hot if he's scared?

Margarito would have walked through Mayweather's pitty pats cornered him and beat the living crap out of him. That would have been the end of Mayweathers career. He'd have done a Hamed & self imploded. BUT
The cowardly worthless POS blatantly ducked him so unfortunately he still infests & pollutes the boxing scene.

 

If this was without a doubt 100% absolute truth, how would fighting a potential career ending fight in which you get brutally beaten by a bigger man threatening your life a coward move?

And for the 1000th time, if Floyd would have fought Margarito and not opted out of his contract with Top Rank, the whole boxing landscape would have changed to something no one would recognize today.. Who knows where boxing and Floyd would be if he never left Top Rank.. Even Pac.. Where would he fit in with Top Rank with Floyd still there? There's no telling...

 

it's ok that you're new to the sport and really don't have any idea what you're talking about but the fact is 147 is WAY stronger right now and floyd did NOT retire or take that break to avoid anyone except to avoid giving odh another huge payday while floyd had to take the short end of the stick.

floyd was under contract so he could NOT fight anyone until that contract expired. as soon as it expired he whooped the **** out the #2 p4p fighter then absolutely destroyed the current (at that time) true ww champ

 

Oscar would have never went down to 147 if he didn't lose to Floyd first and had nothing else.. Oscar would have been the man still and never needed to fight Pac...
