    :rofl Good one

even considering a solid sized supermiddle like Ward coming below 160 is epic ******edness. i could see him fighting and ruining Chavez Jr. Why even consider Ward when you could fight PWill or Pavlik? Take your lumps up at middle like Oscar did. Maybe he can try Sturm on for size and one up Oscar by not needing a gift to beat him.

At least he didn't say Jesus Soto-Karass lol....though Soto-Karass in my eyes is a better fighter than Chavez Jr ever will be :-(

floyd is a big strong welterweight, he fought a 154 version of cotto and handled him,so he can handle light middleweight, therefore he can fight a 154 version of martinez ans surely canelo. at 147, brook brings in the skills and athletiscm and vargas is a future star and why not give him a chance next year. who he should fight in 6.

    154

    martinez
    canelo
    vanes

    147

    pacquiao
    brook
    vargas

but instead he will face guys like ...

    guerrero.alexander.bradley.kahn.

good guys, but not guys who will realy challenge him, because alexander is totaly overrated and does not belong in the ring with floyd, bradley is way to small and it would be mayweather/marquez all over and as for kahn, well kahn gets knocked out within 6 rounds with his glass jaw.

    Not sure if your trolling but . . . . .

Manny Pacquiao - Knocked out by Marquez, still needs to comeback from that along with the GBP/TR beef and the recent Showtime/HBO rivalry going on with HBO refusing to show GB promoted fights

Andre Berto - Lost to Guerrero, hasnt looked good since losing to Ortiz

Timothy Bradley - Will more than likely lose his belt and therefore his appeal, also promoted by Toprank

Andre Ward / Julio Cesar Chavez - both fight from 160-168 respectively and Floyd is ineffective from 154 onwards. these fights are never going to happen

Now if you wanted to make this thread believable this is who Mayweather would actually fight as part of his 6 fight deal with Showtime

    1. Robert Guerrero - WBC Welterweight title

    Already Scheduled

    2. Devon Alexander / Kell Brook - WBC/IBF titles

Alexander was falsely rumoured to fight Mayweather in Guerrero's place to hype the fight despite Alexander being mandated to fight Kell Brook

    3. Keith Thurman - WBC/IBF/WBO titles

One of Goldenboy's rising stars and the mandatory for Timothy Bradley's WBO belt. now if TR refuses to allow this fight take place then Bradley is stripped and if not . . . . well Bradley was being thrown around by a brawler like Provodnikov. im not sold on Thurman yet but one thing is for sure : he can punch and he can box better than Provodnikov, not to mention the damage Bradley soaked up in his last 2 fights may effect him

    4. Adrien Broner - WBC/IBF/WBO/WBA titles

The "New" Mayweather. SBW and LW world champion, scheduled to fight WBA Welterweight world champion Paulie Malignaggi next. Malignaggi was lucky to get past Cano in his last fight and seems to be on the decline.

    5. Saul Alvarez / Austin Trout - WBC/WBA Light Middleweight Titles

Alvarez is touted to face Mayweather but Trout can still put a spanner in the works.

    6. Lucas Matthysse / Danny Garcia / Lamont Peterson / Amir Khan - WBC/WBA/WBO/WBA Titles

The 4 man tourny at 140 holds the most lucrative names from 135-154 when you take out the names mentioned before (not including Bradley, Pacquiao and Marquez who are all promoted by Top Rank) and unless some dark horse emerges these are the only people left for Mayweather to fight that can make him the most money and gather the most public interest.

Then of course by this time Mayweather would be nearing 40 and im assuming his 6th contracted fight would signal his retirement. These 6 fights are the ones that makes the most financial sense

Apparently he signed a 6 fight deal with showtime, only way out would be if he was physically unable to continue fighting for whatever reason
