    I am not a Mayweather fan but I have to agree in a p4p sense he is likely the best ever. Although Roy Jones and Pernel Whitaker are close.

    Ali over louis any day - Resume far too good.

    Sweat peap, willie pep and locche are better than floyd defencively in my opinion but they were more defencive minded

    I never saw willie pep fight, and I do rank him higher than the defensive wizard whitaker.
    Hate to admit it, but best defensive fighter of all time, one could make a strong argument in his case.
