Mayweather got a questionable win over Jose Luis Castillo and had an immediate rematch where he undoubtedly schooled Castillo.

Pacquiao got a questionable draw with Juan Manuel Marquez and waited 3 years between each rematch hoping Marquez would age, and all he could pull off was 2 more questionable wins where many felt he was schooled by Marquez one or both times.

that questionable draw is where one of the the official judges admitted to a scoring mistake that could ahve resulted in a pacquiao win when he scored 10-7 instead of 10-6 like the other two judges.

also it was marquez who refused the immediate rematch since he felt that the money is not enough. pacquiao actually is willing to fight again with just a 100k raise from their first fight. marquez fought guys like jandaeng, jaca and john instead.
