That was true. They kind of called each other out on Boxingtalk back when Floyd had just gone up to 147 and was looking for opponents. Winky wanted 50-50 and was willing to go back down to 154. Floyd instead fought Zab for like an 80-20 split

O makes a lot more sense. I think going up to 154 that quick would be a dumb idea

Nallege, there must be two guys posting under your handle this evening.

First I read a pretty decent analysis of tomorrow's event.

Shows some actual grasp of the topic with very plausible insights.

Then I read this drivel above.

    A clear fail.

As you are well aware, the 20 year old Pac who fought at 112 lbs was in no way indicative of what Pac became much later in his career.

It would be like using Mitchell to cast doubt on Bernard's career or even Schmeling to discredit Louis.

And you know EM feared neither man nor beast.

But as Hagler, Hopkins, Foreman, Jones jnr, Duran and others have pointed out, it's pretty clear Floyd has serious misgivings about facing this Pinoy.

BTW, what is Hussein doing in the middle of your little trio ?

I do think it would be badass if he were to take on either of these two. In terms of a danger fight, isn't Martinez and Williams both tougher than Pacquiao? In my opinion, this is true.

why does he keep saying 50 million bloodtest bla bla, **** off with your smokescreen and just fight him already if hes so weak. i can understand the fear if he were to fight at 160 or something but come on man, your the favourite against little manny pacquiao who barely can make welter and shake of fear even though there would be a 7 day cut off.
Floyd mayweather first black man to be scared of a asian.

I wanna see Mayweather fight Pac as much as anyone. But think about this: Mayweather wins vs martinez/PWill winner and Pac and him fight for the MIDDLEWEIGHT title. That's pretty epic. I'm sure it would be at 155 lbs or something but it would be interesting regardless. Mayweather beats PWill (Chico style) and Martinez (too cerebral a fight for Floyd to lose) and even though I have always been sure that PBF beats Pac regardless of weight class, I would love to see that fight.

Which is why this is bollocks. He's having a hard time getting the fight with Manny how much more Williams/Martinez.
