Fighting a prime pacquiao is too much of a risk for him. You can bet your ass though that if manny gets beat up in winning today floyd will want that fight.

People used to say he was scared of Shane Mosley and would never fight him - people actually said it was less likely he would fight Mosley than Pacquiao because according to people, including Bob Arum, "Mosley, because of his style, has a very good chance to beat Mayweather"

Well we know what happened there......Pac Man will get it eventually too

Floyd is all talk but can't walk it. After any courageous-like statements, he always then ends up into a sure win fight.

These are are harder fights than Pacquaio, either Mayweather is using them as a bargaining chip, or he wants to make history by winning the middleweight championship. Or perhaps he has become paranoid about drugs cheats. I certainly don't think it makes as much money as Pacquaio

However negotiating with Williams-Martinez is winner maybe a bargaining chip to get more leverage against Pacquaio to get more money etc I think he just goes after Pacquaio

Floyd has no urge to fight a midget southpaw. You actually think he'd want to face one that he has a considerable size disadvantage against? His daddy would never allow it. Sr's voice starts trembling like he's seen a ghost at the mention of his son facing an elite southpaw.

martinez at mw would probably be the toughest fight floyd could take.

i would like to see him fight both the winner of pac/margo and martinez/williams.

the thing is ya know, considering all the hate floyd gets, he still has the power to secure his legacy with just a couple of fights. winning them two fights would be enough for most people i believe.

I agree, if Mayweather beats one PWIlls or Sergio, then how is that going to look to the world. Everybody's gonna be back on his nuts liek they were aftet the Mosley fight and have more leverage. I think FLoyd's strategy is to have people say he's ducking somebody and avoiding him on purpose and then come out a dominate em. I could be reading into it oo much, but it's possible
