Tbf it's hard to imagine Woodley losing any time soon. Maia maybe has a better ground game and Lawler has a chance at a KO against anyone. Nick Diaz isn't relevant anymore, Shields is past it. Woodley could rule for a while now.
That's more of a product of the Welterweight landscape than Woodley being a special kind of talent. That said I do think that the run he's gone on is a combination of putting things together and the decline(sort of) of the division, there are some good fighters there but almost none who present a stylistic threat to Woodley apart from Wonderboy. Several blown up Lightweights, a war torn Lawler, nearly 40 year old Maia, Nelson definitely don't provide much encouragement for a competitive and interesting Welterweight title reign for the champ. Unless he loses motivation or has other issues it's hard to see him losing any time soon I would have to agree.
Guess I'm crazy too then lol. Woodley may be insufferable but it's hard to see anyone in the UFC's Welterweight division apart from Wonderboy troubling him.
That was so ****ing gross! Reminded me of videos with two bears fighting and turding all over the place in the heat of battle.
He's also pretty much shot now, that was really the last high note of his career as well. He went on to get whooped by Saffedine and go on a 3 fight losing streak(3-8 in total since) I see nothing to suggest Woodley could ever beat MacDonald though, assuming the Lawler war didn't completely ruin him, he didn't look the same against Thompson... Lima might be a rougher matchup than he expects.
Yeah if Rory returns to the UFC he'll snatch that championship right off Tyron and beat him worse than he did last time. He looked very sharp against Daley.
