Mayweather-Khan is not a very good matchup.

Khan is not on Floyd's level and would get picked apart. Floyd is a boxing Einstein and Khan is Forrest Gump. I give Amir roughly the same chance I gave Ortiz (bulimic supermodel slim).

Floyd and Manny are simply on a higher level than the other 140-147 lb fighters and need to fight already.

Khan - Mayweather is an intriguing match, no matter what people say.

He presents speed, youth and Boxing skill.

JMM - Small and brought up from Lightweight
Mosley - Older man, was arguably shot
Ortiz - Do I really need to say anything?

Amir brings height, he brings speed, he brings power, he bring Boxing skill.

Amir might not win, but it's still very intriguing in my eyes. Amir would arguably be one of the fastest Floyd's faced.

    Why Khan?

Floyd said he wants the winner between Williams and Martinez. Then at least fight Martinez if you won't fight Pacman next.

I'm liking it as well. I believe it as about as much as I believe Top Rank saying that Manny agrees to the complete random testing, but I will remain hopeful.

I don't know much about Richard Schaefer, but I thought the silent interaction between him and Mayweather in the post-fight interview was interesting.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CFgOeby3Nmg[/ame]

Floyd: 'If he want a rematch, he can get a rematch.'

He looks directly at Schaefer as if for approval, and Schaefer visibly nods in response. Then Larry started saying 'you were in charge of the fight, etc', but Floyd is barely listening -- even while Larry is talking, Floyd looks away and then looks right back at Schaefer for a long moment...he looks a bit uncertain of something, and suddenly he explodes at Larry. It's a strange sequence. Does Schaefer give him some sort of signal to start that little rant, or was it more of a heat of the moment thing for Floyd? There's definitely something being communicated between them just before Floyd went nuts.

I want to fight the winner of Williams/Martinez - Floyd Mayweather

Khan next isn't good enough. Pac or Martinez. Khan will be around for years to come, Pac is already past his prime ffs.

You *****s cling to the belief that Floyd would fight PAC eventually but think about this, every ****ing one of the Mayweather clan from Senior Roger to Jeff said it's an easy fight. So easy it's like a walk in the park and Floyd stands to make a gazillion amount of money but why is this fight not happening yet? Why ask for more testing not required by the commish? Why retire and come back against a lightweight? Why? :hi::hi::hi:

This sounds about right, and it makes sense given the series of events over the past few years, IMO.

The only part I don't agree with here is that Mayweather-Pacquiao will happen. But I can see Floyd fighting more regularly now before he hangs up the gloves for good at age 36.
