Mayweather shamed boxing when he fought Baldomir

    This was a truly abysmal performance. I have never seen such a lack of interest in beating an opponent as Mayweather showed that night. It was a great showing of boxing skill, don't get me wrong, but to clearly run from a guy who has no business being in the same ring as you is a joke. Mayweather could have put on a better showing that night, without any doubt. He could havelet his fists fly and impress some people.

    Instead the P4P king ran from a guy who had nothing in his arsenal to win the fight.

    Bull**** performance.

    He got the lineal undisputed WW title out of so i'm pretty sure that counts for something.

    It was a white wash on the scorecards and he showed that he was a cut above Baldomir, who beat the then undisputed WW champion Zab Judah !!

    Baldomir would destroy Gomez.

    And Cotto would not KO/TKO Baldomir.

    You guys are tough. Mayweather shut Baldomir out in that fight. You also have to remember that he ****ed up his hand in the 6th round. What, do you expect him to keep banging away with a ****ed up hand when he has a fight with De La Hoya lined up? There's no shame in shutting out a champion with one hand.

    Baldomir has a breezeblock for a head, can't see anybody KOing him. And it's easier said than done stopping someone with body shots.

    Gomez would outpoint Baldomir easily and Cotto would make BAldomir quit around 6th round.

    Baldomir's built for punishment, he wouldn't quit, nor would he be stopped.

    Gomez would get bullied by Baldomir.

    You dudes are haters for real. Baldomir got a cinderblock for a head. Vernon Forrest couldnt even touch him at 154 and hit him with alot of flush shots. Mayweather gave him a boxing class! What did you expect Mayweather to do? Stand there toe to toe with the man? Give me a break

    I give mayweather props for the win.... he easily outboxed baldo, but the manner in which he did it baffles me and also gave boxing a black eye of sorts... but i give him the benefit of the doubt that he hurt his hand, but then again that could be just him saying that... who knows. what i do know is what i see, and that was a pretty dismal performance against a guy who he was toying with. I dont really have to say much... because the fans that night, the stars that night, and the commentators that night, say it all for me.

    Dude can't win. He nows has to win by KO in fantastic fashion for him to have a "good performance"... ****.. people still criticise what he did to Hatton.
