Well I'm sick of this ****, before the Gatti fight, all of the general fans considered Floyd a great fighter(which he is, find me ever saying he's not a great fighter), but they also recognised that he was beatable, now he's somehow the greatest of this generation and UNBEATABLE, at 147 no less by these fanboys?

And people just accept this after hearing it over and over again. He has ZERO claim currently to the P4P #1 spot, ZERO, because performance level is just as much apart of a win and look at his 2005-2007 years, it's only a 'fair' opposition level that he should have ripped to pieces, but he's shown struggle and fights safety first and is looking for the path of least resistence and the most money.

    This is all fact.

He's a great fighter, but very overrated. He's not on level with contemporaries DLH and Mosely, whom only a few years back were at their best, both DLH and Mosely have superior resume's and performance level's to Floyd against similiar opposition, with DLH and Mosely actually fighting true elite fighters, something Floyd hasn't.

Mosely would have ripped through Floyd's 135-147 competition with no trouble at all, as would have DLH. Yet he ranks above them both????

Now this doesn't go one way, stack Floyd up against Mosely and DLH's 135-147 competition, he's going to pick up a few losses just like both of these guys did.

Too an extent you are right because as a champion and some one that beliefs he is GOAT he should chase the best oposition possible which he currently is not doing.

    Because Cotto is that man.

You have case to say at this stage in his career he is scared to loose but i know thats not the case

Oscar might be past his prime but his no spring chicken and ill give him 40% chance against cotto

My definition on P4P is a fighter who if the fighting weights are equal he will be the top man head to head.

so i have a different criteria from you Amsterdam when it comes to P4P

Like Luciano Perez did to Baldomir himself? The same Perez who Gomez had no problems with (even though the stoppage was somewhat premature). Baldo needed a gift decision to get by Perez in a fight where Baldo was getting beat up and staggered more than once.

You cant tell us that you dont want to see a Cotto/Mayfeather fight soon.. GOAT? Hell no.. He might be 39-0, but who has he beaten to make his resume look that good? DLH? Tons of people has beaten DLH.. He loses to every great fighter he faces.. Mayweather just happened to beat a semi-retired DLH who took him all 12 rounds.. Hatton? Overrated.. Judah? Destroyed by Cotto.. Why not fight a Cotto, Margo, or a Mosley?

I don't think it would be hating to Call Mayweather Jr one of the lamest WW champs ever. Especially when he's supposed to be the best fighter in the world IN the deepest division in boxing. His reign will be looked at negatively unless something is done soon.

Cotto did what was expected of him against Gomez, Floyd danced all night and bored half the audience into calling it an early night:nono

That was the night I started calling him Mayrunner and other sorted petty names-lol. I don't have an intense hatred for Mayrunner but he is a fraud champ and not the best boxer in the world.

Pernell Whitaker vs. Santos Cardona for example.

Cardona was basically a Baldomir level fighter, a granite jawed, plodding, slow journeyman. Pernell Whitaker landed 526 punches on him.

Did Floyd even throw that many against Baldomir?

    You Floyd haters are hilarious.

The man was putting on an absolute clinic, probably on his way to a corner stoppage. Then hurts his hand.

And yet, y'all expect him to stand there, going toe to toe with a bad hand, against a guy with an iron chin, with the fight already in the bank and a future 20+ MILLION dollar payday already in place.

Yeah, PBF should jeopardize all that to impress......YOU.

    Sad indeed.
