I guess it's as good a time as any to start a new Mayweather-Pacquiao thread. If you've
looked around this forum at all for the past 6 months, you've probably read hundreds of these
at least, so I apologize if this seems redundant.

My thoughts on the situation are basically what any real fan's are - the sport is not the
Kingdom of Floyd Mayweather nor Manny Pacquiao. No, it is the Kingdom of Boxing and
I - for one - would be honored to be a part of it. Apparently that's not enough for these two. If there
was any justice in the world, obviously this fight would be signed. Hell, it may have already happened. But we
finally seem to be getting to the point where things appear to be moving forward.
There only seems to be one problem - Floyd Mayweather's giant, flapping vagina. He obviously lacks the courage
to get in the ring with a prime, dangerous fighter. It's painfully obvious at this point. He's perfectly content to
sit on his padded undefeated record and continue to fight shot, 39 year olds and bloated lightweights and put another 0
on the end of his bank account.

My initial feeling was that HBO should just boycott Mayweather if he fights anybody else. Pull him down off his imaginary
throne and back into the real world. Somebody needs to remind him that he's not bigger than boxing
as a whole and that his actions are actually hurting the entire sport. This is, quite possibly,
THE only fight people want to see right now. I mean what happened to the good days, even recently, when guys like
Prince Naseem, Roy Jones, Oscar de la Hoya, etc would put on exciting shows for everyone and just fight the best fights available.
Of all my years watching this sport, I've never been so frustrated about a fight that isn't even signed yet. I can scarcely
bel ieve it's even been allowed to get to this point. Something needs to happen, and soon, to remove this
air of superiority from the arrogant Mayweather family and make this fight happen!
