Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. I think the game plan will be similar to Mosley, stand up to him, don't make any errors and find your openings and exploit them.

I love how people think busy fighters like Pac, PWill, Margo etc would be busy against Mayweather. Did you not notice that Mosley essentially stopped throwing anything substantial after round 2? Do you know why that is?

Mayweather will not beat Pacquiao by being on the bicycle. If that's the game plan, Pac will smoke him.

500$ says may is on his bike if they fight.
Manny has to be the aggressor and chase him down.

 

You don't understand boxing. Clottey was able to land easily, consistently, and cause serious damage out of a very "non-right hand friendly" stance. He basically squared his shoulders to provide a tighter defense, but that removes most of the torque generated by his core on the straight right hand. Then he was able to land the right hand from distance just using timing. Manny had no answer but to throw a thousand arm punches. So the punches tell a grim tale for Manny versus a FAST guy with superior timing.

Stop with this Manny is fast, accurate, and powerful. I call BS. Sure he is fast in combination. He also has KO power in both hands. I have yet to see him out "twitch" a guy. Look who he beats on! SSM was fast in combination too. Didn't help him much. Manny has CONSISTENTLY dodged Boxers and Boxer/Punchers his entire career. I hold off complimenting his speed until he fights a guy known for being actually fast. He has more than enough options down at 140 now. Take one!

Nobody looks at the Clottey fight as FMJ will land clean. The Clottey fight shows that FMJ could possibly STOP Manny.

 

That will be hard to quantify but I'm in for the bet assuming we can agree on the parameters.

Mayweather's jab and straight right take away his need to ride his bike against Pac.

 

Okay, how about we do it like this.

If floyd takes more than 50% of his steps backwards, then he is on his bike.
We both watch way more boxing than normal people, we know when someone is on a bike.

If manny is walking floyd down, I win.
If floyd is aggressively outboxing pac, then you win.

****, we can do a post fight poll on here if you want. But anti-LukeO mayweather fans don't count.

 

Manny was more concerned with fighting the best fighters in his division than he was by picking particular styles to face. What a fraud.

 

That's another thing, if he takes them tests and gets his ass kicked, what do you think people will say about Manny's extraordinary feat of knocking people out in his 9th division after having 50 fights, after being in numerous wars, and after tunring 30?

If pac loses to floyd it's boxing related. Nothing to do with drugs or tests.

I don't consider myself a spokesperson for an entire generation of fight fans, BigReg. You may be able to predict the future but I certainly can't so we'll just have to wait and see won't we.

Be less concerned with conventional wisdom...when you find yourself on the side of the majority, it's time to pause and reflect.
