Mayweather will not fight Mosley or Berto. Berto is an Al Haymon fighter so Floyd has a conflict of interest as he is an Al Haymon fighter. Also he won't fight Mosley. The only way he would fight Mosley in my opinion is if Mosley won by spectacular knock-out.(More money would be in the fight then) Then the public would demand the match-up like they are demanding the Pacquaio fight. We will see what happensin the next few months.

Listen man,Floyd will never fight Mosley...Too BIG of a risk..and this is comin from a fan of PBF

I hear he wants to fight Matthew Hatton or have a rematch with Ricky Hatton in the UK if the fight wit Pac doesnt get made

If Pacquiao really is going after Foreman in March and won't fight again until September, then it would behoove Mayweather to stay busy, as well. A fight against either Hatton would rightly draw a great deal of derision from the boxing world. Marquez, despite being the #2 P4Per at the time, was a tuneup. That's indisputable. Mayweather does not need a second, and he does not need to take 14 months off between fights. I'm not saying it would have to be the winner of Mosley/Berto, but it should at least be a credible WW (the prospects of that happening are a different story).

That might turn out to be better if they can get their undercard right ... i'm sure that if Berto wins, it would be big ... here you have a welterweight who can match Floyd in speed ... who can match Floyd in power and accuracy ... and who's young ...

I'm sure if Berto wins and they market this fight right, it could mean big business.

And just imagine if Berto or Shane were to win and they further unified the titles in the co-feature of a Floyd tune-up fight.

In a few years, Mayweather fans will be telling us that Mosley and Berto hadn't proven themselves, and that a fight with Matthew Hatton was the one everyone wanted to see.

how about the "little" detail that Mosley/Berto fight on January 30th.
So how does a mega fight come off in April. Get a clue about the industry dumbass.

It isn't about proving yourself when you're on the big stage ... this isn't the case of Margarito who didn't step up to the plate to get the legitimized welterweight championship and who only defended his belt a handful of times in as many years. Or Shane Mosley's on again off against mentality.

Guys who have the chance of stepping up to the plate always get bumped off and then the next person in line gets his chance. Its no different when DLH was about to fight an undefeated Karmazin, but he ended up getting bumped off by Castillejo.

If the PBF-Pac fight falls through I see him fighting the winner of Mosley-Berto next.
