Mayweather should hand over the throne

    He wouldn't do it in the ring. But he could fight on the same night as Canelo/Cotto against a B - side fighter on another show. Would be a good chance to see how many fans he really has and hand over his 'PPV throne' to the winner of Canelo/Cotto.

    Because he's too good to lose inside that ring

    mayweather has 1 maybe 2 fights and then hes done with boxing in the ring. when he's done other good fighters will have a chance to be at his spot.

    They're not having two major PPVs on the same night. The networks and promoters are not that stupid.

    They know that Floyds farewell fight will be big business. Nobody can compete with the man in the boxing business.
