Exactly. He hasn't taken a real risk since fighting JLC at 135, which was YEARS ago, and I wasn't terribly impressed w/his performances in those two fights. He's avoided tough fights since then, faced some very questionable opp, and run his mouth non-stop. I think he lost his fight against DLH, 8-4 rds. There are many REALLY credible opponents who would fight him at 147, but he avoids them like the plague and goes for a 145(?) catch-weight fight against JMM--a guy who's heyday was at 126, just recently moved up to 135, and who is closer to 40 than 30. He wants us to think him, not just the best of our era, but of all-time? STFU Floyd! PBF is the most overrated fighter of our times.
Well, you can't stop haters from hating. Sounds like the fight won't happen, at least for now, so I guess it doesn't matter. If Pac fights and beats Cotto, though, it would be hard to imagine him STILL being called "too small" to fight any 147-lb'r.
Yeah Mayweather should learn from Mosley. Floyd's about to fight JMM and then has a fight with Pac lined up, while Mosley is stuck fighting Paul Williams for less money. Floyds doing just fine on his own
I respect Mosley for not fighting Floyd twice. I also respect Mosley for using performance enhancing drugs knowingly. I respect Mosley for chasing Pac and not Williams. I respect all the haters who can't mention boxers in the welterweight division without mentioning Floyds name. I respect this thread for noting that Floyd fighting someone smaller after only having 5 fights at 147 is worse than Mosley fighting someone smaller after having had near 20 fights at 147 and above......So who is the real fraud here?
Mosley's career is one of almost pure risks. He has fought a crapload of high risk, little reward fights, including: Estrada Cruz Forrest x2 Wright x2 Vargas x2 Mayorga (post Tito, DLH) Collazo
**** off ***** I owned your ***** ass in this thread. http://www.eastsideboxing.com/forum/showthread.php?p=4399526#post4399526 BTW PBF will **** all over the man in your avatar come September..deal with it.:hi:
Mayorga is not a risk to anybody but the moron's who bet on him against anyone but a wounded Forrest.
Gotta agree Dawg. At this point in his career Shane needs to start taking a page from Floyds book and make some real money before he's through.
