Agree? Those are my top 2 choices. They both bring elite hand speed, head movement, power, unique southpaw awkwardness to the table.
Lara needs a few more bouts to be marketable, but I agree that his style would be far more difficult than other Floyd opponents to date. Pacquiao needs to beat Rios convincingly first in order to be considered, in my opinion.
Lara would actually be quite interesting. Definitely the best challenge out there based on styles and size. But it would be at a catch weight. I don't see this fight happening ever, Floyd ain't fighting Lara.
garcia and then wait for thurman. I think it was about a year ago the thurmanator called out floyd. He should go all out tarver on jones style and keep calling him out
There's a couple guys out there he can fight. Lara should consider himself fortunate to have survived Angulo and has unfinished business with him and Vanes (though I never want to see that matchup again). Pac is probably gone, I see him struggling with Rios, someone he would normally blow out the water. Floyd can pick from Thurman, Trout, Garcia, Mathysse, Alexander etc.....I notably left Khan out. I really don't think Floyd is even considering Khan.
Yeah, because fighting Lara would bring in money. Seriously, some people just don't understand the business side of the sport.
