Imma floyd fan and believe he will win the fight, but it just seems like floyd is showing him too much respect now that the fight is getting closer. I read online yesterday that floyd said " Baldomir took me the distance and he Knocked out Baldomir so that says something, he's young and strong ,so we just have to see how the fight plays out." Canelo keeps saying that he KNOWS he will win or WHEN he wins this fight it will be a major victory. I haven't heard floyd speak too much about guaranteeing the victory. DO you think floyd is concerned and knows he has a REAL DEAL fighter with skills in front of em or is he just Upselling the fight ta get people to think Canelo has a chance?

Don't read too much into it because floyd is playing mind games. A guy with canelo's confidence and invisibility will be crushed September 14 and I'm sure tonights episode will have alot more trash talking.

There is a reason for the catchweight. Team Mayweather knows this kid got skills and won't take an L laying down.

    Speaking of weight .

Mayweather is always repeating " weight don't mean anything , skills pay the bills"

Which is complete BULL and a HUGE contradiction on himself .

When a reporter asked him if he would ever fight Sergio Martinez , and Floyd replied he's too big and I'm a welterweight .

The reporter than said Martinez will be willing to come back down to 154 for the fight and reminded Floyd he recently fought at 154 against Cotto .

How does Floyd responds ? ...... "Next question "

Weight divisions were not created for the hell of it , they are there for a reason .

It does not matter how skilled you are , weight can play a huge roll in a fight .

Pernell Whitaker one of the most skilled fighters in the history of boxing .

You throw him in there with an average fighter like Tavoris Cloud and Pernell would get slaughtered the moment Trout connects on him .

    :deal

Double standard with people man, I see reporters NOW saying Canelo might be too big as well as posters, then there is the catchweight, Floyd is the king right? fight Canelo at 154lb.

The fight is happening either way though so atleast we get that.

Same here bro , regardless of everything , I'm just happy the fight taking place PERIOD . ( Credit to "SHOWTIME" for that )

To be honest , Canelo weighed in @ 153 for the Trout Fight , so I don't think 152 would have any effect on him . That's if Canelo even decides to make the catch weight .
