yes i was looking for him but didnt see him after the fight. I thought a shake of the hand was in order from him to Freddy Roach....but that meant having to face Roach.....oh the irony of it all lmao. Now Floyd blames Ricky i hear? He would of been the first to claim credit if his boy had of won though. How is it that he is the only one that beleived he could change a fighter so radically in a few months?? the guy is a lunatic and a braggart at best.
:rofl:rofl:roflThat's a hilarious image you paint, it would have been worth the ppv price to see that
Do we really need to now go out and start a thread of quotes about how Floyd Snr takes credit for his fighters because he's the best trainer in the world? Really? Ya wana go there tiger? Ricky got caught with right hooks from the first punch of the fight - It seemed obvious to me that all this amazing defensive training that the greatest trainer of all time had imparted not even the basics of where to hold the right hand to defend the southpaw left nor the left hand for southpaw rights. But then again - it just shows Freddie's sage like experience over Mayweather straight up. "As soon as Hatton gets tagged he'll go back to the old Hatton" - Bingo.
It is people like you who feed into Floyd Sr's talk. Roach had the better fighter period. Trainers play a part in training and game planning...that's it. The fighter takes all the risks. You can't change a man over night. I will never believe Roach is a better trainer than Floyd Sr. Hatton could've had Futch, and he would've been put unconscious.
So what makes Floyd Sr such a great trainer? I hear this **** thrown around but have never seen what makes Floyd Sr this guru.
