all these hatton fans criticizing Floyd Joy, its completely uncalled for. U werent complaining when he was writing all his poems being all confident and ****. Weren't complaining when he taught hatton to use his jab vs Mallignaggi.

Then bang KO. now he's an *******.

    show sum respect.

he aint. he's a decent coach thats about it. It was hatton's decision to employ him, no one else.

SKY only aired Lee Beard speaking at the post fight press conference. I was interested in what Mayweather had to say.

    Thanks for the vids...

    Floyd Joy Boy SNR:

    "Bluhuhm..defense... can destroy a fighter... "

So to all the wankers that blindly defend SNR: what is so freaking great about him as a trainer??... he shows up late.. lives in the shadow of his sons success constructing a false image as a world class trainer. The man is a LEECH.

Fighters lose fights, fighters win fights... I get it, but come on why defend this *******. His joke poems are lame, he looks like a crack head, he IS a crackhead, and I doubt he has worked an honest day in his life. :-(

The bottom line is Ricky Hatton can't fight any other way then how he always has. Floyd Sr. thought he had added defense, head movement, and a jab to compliment his normal ferocious body attack and aggression.

Anyone, who watched the 24/7 episodes saw everyone in the Hatton camp talking about Hatton's new style. From the opening bell he looked like the same exact fight who got knocked out by Floyd in 2007. Can't blame Floyd Sr. for his game plan. Ricky didn't execute it.

Why wouldn't Floyd Sr. be embarrassed? Ricky couldn't of possibly done any worse.

Roach said Hatton loads up on his punches ( espeacially the left hook) and after he throws he drops his hands. He had Pacman ready to time Hatton with the right hand.

He's is a one man economic crisis.

His mouth cashes sub-prime cheques that when they aren't cashed he kicks them in the balls. He's like the NBC money dude that John Stewart got stuck into, only he's not even available for an interview cause he's at Taco Bell. What a dong huffer.

Team Hatton thought they could box with Pacquiao. Of course, they probably didn't factor Pacquiao's power anywhere into their equation going in, like alot us, but after the first round it was time have Hatton adjust back to his NATURAL style of collapsing all the way in - something they should have been doing in the first place. That never happened.

If what Freddie Roach said was true, and Hatton was indeed getting beat up badly in sparring by wannabe Pacquiao clones, it's pretty disturbing to think Team Hatton decided to send a guy who's only truly effective at full pressure mauling at the highest level into a contest with the plan of trying to box and "think" their way through the fight. This wasn't Paulie Malignaggi they were facing, and everything looked identical.

It was a disasterous gameplan. Mayweather Sr. ****ed up royally, but Hatton ****ed up picking this guy for his style. It goes without saying Hatton still may have lost to Pacquiao, regardless, but he might not have been obliterated and humiliated to that extent if he just fought like Ricky ****in Hatton, and not some mindless cutsie.

He is an *******. He is an ******* for watching his fighter get brutally KOed and then ****ing bolting from the ring out of embarassment and then having the audacity to say later that Ricky should retire.

Ive never seen ANY trainer EVER watch their fighter get KOed and then LEAVE the ring.

That is just classless and despicable.

You say Ricky tried to box Manny? How many jabs did he throw? Where was his head movement?

When I watch the fight, I see Ricky trying to do his usual 'jump in with a hook/hold and hit' tactics. He even hit Pac in the back of the head several times. Ricky cried about Cortez not letting him fight his fight. Bayless let him do not only that, but he even gave him time to recoup after the first knockdown in Round 1.

There are no excuses. People blamed Cortez for him getting check-hooked, now they're blaming Floyd Sr for him getting hit with that corkscrew blow. When is Ricky going to get held accountable for getting himself KTFO? He lost to Collazo and was almost KTFO in that fight for the same reasons -- he eats counter punches like M&M's.

I ain't the biggest Floyd Snr fan, but the blame is not on him this time. He told Ricky he needed to use his damn jab and he urged him in training to move his head. He went on and on about it on the 24/7 show.

Manny deserves credit for fighting and executing a smart strategy. Ricky deserves blame for not even making Manny think about a damn jab on the way in. He left himself open to be caught by the same damn punches repeatedly and made no adjustments. The guy never thought about throwing a jab or moving his head at all.

He got stretched out pretty bad and it wasn't cuz he was trying to box Pac.
