    EXACTLY:good:good
I find it offensive that PBF would even but malcom and MLK in the same sentence as to what he did. What a slap in the face to those to American ICONS

    Dont take it personal.
    I just hate character disparaging.
Your not the only one who is doing it.
It promotes false perceptions and takes away from boxing.

So if you're not black, then you're incappable of understanding?

    You're coming across as ignorant.

The race issue on this forum is quite silly to be honest. Look, as a black man, I don't support the way Floyd conducts himself. If you want an answer to your question, some, NOT ALL, black people support the way Floyd acts. It's just a matter of opinions. Some hispanics like Floyd, and some whites do as well. That whole "I'm getting money" mentality is non-sense. Don't get me wrong, I've been in that mentality at one point in time, but I think if we as a people aren't growing up and growing out of our childish ways, then we are wasting our lives. That goes for EVERY ethnicity. Floyd can be 42-0, he can have flashy cars and all the money in the world, but what does it amount to at the end of the day? Is he going to be able to take it with him when he dies? The way you choose to conduct yourself while you're here on this earth is very crucial. You could without even knowing it make or break someone else's life through your actions. If someone doesn't believe that to be true then you're blind.

Take Jesus Christ for instance. Now, before people go on bashing religion on here just like they bash everything else, just hear me out. Jesus inspired many nations to turn from their evil ways, humble themselves, and live a Christ-like life. He selflessly put others first, dedicated his life to helping his people know the Good Word and the message of our Father, and died on the cross for us all so that we wouldn't be condemned for our sins, but rather given eternal life if we turn away from our evil ways and submit to his teachings. NOT so that we may SUBMIT did he die, but rather he DIED so that we may LIVE. Regardless of what you believe, no one can say that an act such as that is wrong. Now, I'm not judging Floyd or anyone else because I don't know the first thing about him or what he's experienced in his lifetime, but I just want to make a small point. Floyd thanks God after every one of his victories, as he should. I commend him for that. However, from the way he conducts himself and constantly boasts about this and that, a Christian, or any believer of God, who's lost in his ways or maybe confused about what's moral may be negatively influenced by Floyd and his actions. The fact of the matter is, Floyd is a role model to a lot of young people, majority of them being young black kids. It disappoints me to see him act in the way that he does because whether you or he believes it or not, he is influencing people who look up to him that it's ok to boast about material things, that it's ok to degrade people and disrespect others. It is said, "God will not tempt you beyond what you can handle." Therefore, anything immoral that we do in our lives has no excuse because there is a way out of that situation. There is no excuse for brash talk, no excuse for stealing, murder, adultery, greed ("I'm gettin money"), envy, hate, boastfulness ("I'm gettin money"), etc....and that goes for Floyd, me, you, and anybody else.

I know boxing is a dirty business and people will say "This is boxing, if you can't take the heat then get out." All I'm saying is, is it really worth all the trouble? Do you have to conduct yourself in that manner to "make a living?" Floyd has plenty money, he doesn't NEED to act that way to make money, he WANTS to act that way. I'm not just picking at him because there are many athletes, business men, and people all over the world, Christian, Muslim, Atheist, and all who fall victim to things in line with this. I, myself am not sinless and I would be a fool to judge Floyd or anyone, only God can judge us. I have my own problems to attend to. All I'm saying is as a black man, I don't agree with the way Floyd conducts himself. It obviously gives a negative perception of his fans, as well as upon many other African Americans. Like I said, it's not cool to judge in the first place, but it is what it is. That's the world we live in, unfortunately. With that said, I do enjoy watching him box, I believe he is the best boxer today.

Man, you're really sticking your head in the sand. He's going to jail because he put his hands on a woman. The more you deny it, the more it hurts your credibility.

It doesn't matter if you're black or not. If you support Floyd for doing something wrong because he's black, then it's no different than any white person who support Zimmerman because he is white. It should not be a race issue. It's a right or wrong issue, and what Floyd did was wrong.

I've seen so many people who support bad behavior. You're a enabler just like many that came before you. The more you align yourself with bad behavior, the more it becomes you. And the more you support this bs, the harder it is for you to get out of your hole.

Swag, bling, arrogance...all childish behavior. People grow out of it, even blacks. It only appeal to kids who are immature themselves. Floyd is a big baby, like Teddy Atlas and like his father.
